I AM OFFICIALLY TWO

Yahoo!!! I am two!! Mom was so scared that I was not going to make it when I had that scary illness last year but thanks to the good care of my Vet and Mommy Today I am celebrating my 2nd Birthday!!! I become a very healthy and strong little Girl!!!

I AM HOME!!!!!!!!

Yayayaya I am home I am home !!! I came last night from the Vet I am doing okay eating, drinking and using the little box just normal! I haven’t had vomits in 3 days so things look great!!!
Well I am not happy because Mom put me in a room by myself and I don’t want to be alone…Mom brought me lots of toys catnip and after getting lots of love from Mommy I got myself relaxed. Mom told me that I will be in this room for 6 weeks but she will spend lots of time just with me!! I will be free again on September 2nd. I can’t wait to see my Siblings again!!! But I have to be grateful that I am alive!! Distemper is a very danger decease with high mortality rates! I am so happy to be part of that little percentages that survive. Thank you Thank you to each of you that prayed for me!! Thank you Hazel Lucy for the collars that you sent us as soon this isolation time pass I will wear them!! I love you all very much!

More Good News!!!!!!

I just got a call from Dr.Markova (Baby's Vet) she says that Baby is drinking and eating alot and is happy. She has not vomited for 2 days and she is on her own NOT IV Fluids anymore!!! Also said that she can go home Today but I will let her one more day there so I will go to take Baby tomorrow after work around 7PM easter Time!!

My Baby is safe!!!! Thank you Thank you for all the puurrs and prayers and get well wishes and support we got!!!

Looking Good!!!!

Good Morning all! Mom here I have great news about Baby..She started to eat on Friday!! Yayayaya she ate a whole can of food when I was there and kept eating during the weekend! Her Doctor said that she’s improving each day. On Saturday they got a new blood test and this time came back almost normal. Her Cells were at 400 when all this started and the last blood test she’s 16,500 which is great almost normal (Normal Values are 17,000) also she’s not vomiting anymore so they are going to take out the IV fluids to see how she will do. If things continuum going this way she will come home on Wednesday!! Anyhow I will have to keep her in isolation for 6 weeks to avoid direct contact with my others babies. The rest of the family are doing okay so far! They got re-vaccinated a week ago and they will get a second shot on Friday 25th. I want to thank each of you for Praying and Purring for Baby and for us as always Purrs do worked!!! Please if you have time keep Purring for all of us since we need one more week to go to start feeling a little more safe!!

Baby's Update 07/18/08

Good Morning all, Last night I went to visit Baby and she’s doing good and look better than yesterday. The Doctor said that her body temperature is normal now so this is a GOOD sign!! She’s not eating well yet but they says that is normal, they added vitamins on her IV so let’s hope that she will gets her appetite back. We have two more days to go and hopefully she’ll keep fighting and will get over this. The rest of the family is doing good so far so hopefully I won’t have to worry about them. The Doctors says that younger’s cats are more venerable and sometimes adults can get through this without any apparent symptoms. I will go after work again and I am planning to take with me her favorites can food and dry food so maybe she’ll be interested in it. Once again thank you so very much for all the support we are getting and for praying and purring for Baby and the rest of the family. Thank you for being there for us!!

Please Pray and Purr for Me!

Good Morning All this is Baby’s Mom here, wanted to give an update on Baby. Yesterday went to see her and she was good, looked good and was relaxed. She’s getting IV Fluids with Vitamin B and Baxtril also something to stop the vomiting. I just called today and the info that they gave me was that she has vomiting again which is not good but she still on fluids and getting 24 hrs of treatments. They need to raise her values since they were way low but at least she’s NOT ANEMIC so they said that this is good sign…We need to wait 48 or 72 hrs and if she can pass this period she could have good chances to get over this. So I am just praying that she will stay strong and keeps fighting this terrible disease. I really don’t know how this can happen since all my babies were vaccinated neither the doctors can’t understand but it happens and now all I can do is pray to God help my Baby. The rest of the family seems to be okay so far but this is a very tricky disease and sometimes doesn’t shows symptoms until when is already late. Anyhow I will have a Vet coming to my house to get blood sample to each of them so they can run CBC and have more chances to detect the decease on time .

I really don’t think that I will have time and energy to thank each of you personally all the rosettes, special Gift and get well whishes that you’ve left on Baby’s page but please know that I really appreciate each of them very much. Thank you so much for all the support!
