Arrival Story:
Around our house there are plenty of cats,some inside, some
outside. A few of the inside ones think they want to be outside
( they forget how good they have it!), and one of the outside cats
had a good idea that inside was better. Precious, ( thats what I
came up with, cause, I think she is!) had been hanging around
the house for most of the winter after being rescued off the roof
of the house next door. She was sweet and sort of friendly, but
still kind of wild. She was always there when the handouts were
being passed out, ( a daily thing) and every now and then she
would let you pet her. As time went by she would let you get closer to her, and at last came to the point where she would come
to me if I was putting out the food. It was very cold the other day
when I was feeding the outside herd and she came up to me .
She is very small, and I could tell she was cold. I picked her up
and tucked her inside my coat next to me. Not knowing for sure
what to expect, I was hopeing she would understand that I was
trying to get her warm. To my surprise and delight, she started
to purr and rub her head on my chest. ( aaaw thats SWEET )
After that I made the effort to pick her up every chance I got.
Two days later I was inside the gate on the patio, she heard me
and CRIED for me to come pick her up. Today is the first day we have had her in and Iam sorry I didn't do it sooner. She is such
a lover! Its strange how the purr of a small bit of fur can steal
your heart away. But around this house thats about all it takes.

I want to thank all of my friends who left me the gifts for Christmas. There is no way Meowmy can respond personally to you all. But please know that we love all of our friends & truly appreciate the rememberances !!!

Mom & Dad Have decided to try & find another home for me.
I have become the smallest grown cat here therefor I am always
being chased & picked on. The breaking point was the abcess that formed near my tail. The vet said that it was a bite wound from another cat. Now playing or not It still is not a pleasant thing to have to see a vet cause one of the siblings bit me.
If you know of anyone who is looking for a quiet loving kitty, Please tell them about me. I really do not like being shut up alone
at night & while the humans work. But that is what it is coming down to.
Please purr that I can grow BIG, if I don't find a new home.
Mom & Dad will never dump me at the shelter or nothing. So
do not think they will do that. They just will not tolerate me being injured. And they don't know who to blame. They all chase me !!!!

MY AUNTIE RHONDA SAID THAT MY MOMMY IS GONNA FAINT
WHEN SHE GETS HOME THIS WEEK-END AND SEES ALL OF THESE NEW COLLARS ON OUR PAGES!!!!!!
PURR-HAPS BY NEXT WEEK....MOMMY AND AUNTIE RHONDA CAN WORK TOGETHER AND REPAY SOME OF THESE.
WE LOVE OUR COLLARS AND OUR FRIENDS VERY DEARLY.
