Arrival Story:
Jaffa was a rescue cat, he is believed to have lived rough for a couple of years before being taken in. He has been moved on a few times due to divorces and job changes until finally ending up here where he is staying.
Bio:
Jaffa is a very endearing cat who trusts people in spite of a bad start. Each time he has had to move a whole network of admirers, both old and new, has sprung into action to find him a home. He is home for good now, I wouldn't part with him for anything or anyone. He is 12 now and in a nice quiet home with big garden and neighbours who are part of his extensive fan club. He had to get used to Lulu who already lived here and more recently to Russell who just kept turning up and is also here to stay. They are all learning to live together but as long as everyone thinks they are the boss, things are fine.
On November 18th 2011 Jaffa's big heart gave out. He crossed the Bridge with his pals Grub and Tigger. He was loving, loyal, beautiful and the best friend anyone ever had. No cat was ever more adored. Sleep tight darling, Mummy loves you XXX

My darling boy died on Friday. Thank you for all your lovely tributes and gifts.
I am utterly, utterly devastated as I know are the families of Tigger 846901, Grub 698115 and Little Blaze 672521 who have all crossed the Bridge too.
There is great comfort in the kindess of friends, thank you all so very much. Maria X

With three of us celebrating our birthday yesterday it was quite a party! We were showered with gifts, good wishes, visitors and Angel dust.
Dearest Ishtar called round with a big sunny sun, a birthday chorus and a smoochie for Rusty which made him blush nearly as much as I did when she presented me with an extravagant friendship diamond. My furry cheeks had barely cooled down when the lovely Tabatha gave me a bright ruby heart!
Toki found the biggest sunflower in the world for me, cos it's my favourite flower and Lulu had roses from Riley, Skippy, Sparkman and yet another from her beloved Soc. We did brilliantly for cake; Angel Samantha made a heavenly catnip cake and Felix, Serena & Georgina brought yummy ice cream to go with it. Felix brought scrummy cuppycakes and Skippy, Riley and Angel Soleil turned up with ice cream to go with them - yippee! We washed it all down with an endless supply of zingy lemonade from Keisha, how did you haul that lot over gal?
When we finally finished stuffing our faces, we worked off a fair few calories playing with all the balls Tyson, Hazel Lucy and Sparkman brought along. Thanks to Tyson's special instructions not a window was lost. I'm hoping hard that the secret wish he gave me will come true!
Sparkman taught Batman to fly the kite he brought him as an 'unbirthday' gift so he didn't feel left out being the only one with a different birthday.
Meanwhile, as more friends called by, there was dancing and more singing, some of it was a bit scary, naming no names!
Finally we flaked out to chat and swap jokes whilst trying to pretend we didn't notice Soc and Lulu kissing....
It was a great day. Thanks to all of you and apologies if I missed mentioning anyone, it was all a bit of a whirl for this old furrrt! Big love Jaffa XXXXX

It's raining hard outside so no fight over curfew tonight, we are happy to stay in. However I see that BatMan is wedged under Mum's T-shirt while she is wearing it. A sartorial enhancement for her, but has he no dignity?
