Skills:
Willie and Morris were outdoor cats, the neighborhood was their yard (explanation below) but they always came home for meals and to sleep. Where ever they were in the neighborhood, I would call them with their unique whistles and they'd come running home.

Dwells:
outdoors

Arrival Story:
Willie came first and was already an old man when we adopted each other. Willie used live with a family in the neighborhood. When they moved, their back neighbor adopted him as their own. Willie was the patriarch of the neighborhood - a gentleman - but a protector, as evidenced by his beat-up ears and lack of teeth. He headed up their family of cats. When *they* moved, they didn't feel right about taking him with them because the neighborhood had always been his home. I was just a kid, but he was told, okay Willie, now mine will be our home and that was just fine with him. No adjustment, he just walked home with me and I was his. Morris arrived as a kitten and Willie relished his mentor role and Morris was his eager student.

Bio:
Theirs was a true story of love and deserve to be listed on Catster as a duo. Still young, Morris was killed by car, hit and run, in 1987. Willie wasn't around when it happened, but he knew... and he never got over it. The old man who had lived through so much and knew more than anything how to survive went the same way just a month later, to the day.

Who's Who?:
Morris, not surprisingly, was the orange and white tabby. Willie was the tuxedoed multi-color.
