Arrival Story:
We adopted Tansey and her brother Basil after our sweet Siddhartha left us after 16.5 years of love. We wanted a pair of kitties, siblings, and the first one I saw was Baz. Miss Vrrr looked like a lighter version of her beautiful mother and was the only muted tortie in a litter of orange boys and girls. She was also the runt. She's been a loving and amusing part of our lives for 14.5 years. We had to put Baz down when they both were ten years old. Tansey missed him horribly, but compensated by spending lots of time with us. We got her Hermes a little over a year later, to keep her company. She loves to taunt Hermes, he's not as agile or fast as she is, and she can run circles around Herm with her eyes closed. They love each other very much.

Bio:
Tansey is my joy. She's very articulate, she speaks in kitty sentences, not just words. She does not have a meow that fits her beauty, but she has a sound she makes in her throat that we call "vrring" and she vrrrs all the time! Touch her, "Vrrr". Say good morning, and she replies "Vrrr!" Touch her when she least expects it, and we get "Vrrr!!" and a quick head turn.
