Arrival Story:
My niece called me one day on her way home from school. Her and her friends saw some boys trying to hurt a litter of newborn kittens. I worked for animal control at the time, so I immediately went over there and rescued the litter. I took the litter of kittens home (5 boys- all tuxedos but one) and I bottle fed them and hand raised them until they were ready to be placed up for adoption. All four of the other kittens did well- they thrived and were eventually able to be neutered and then go to wonderful new homes. Kojak however never seemed to recover from a bout with "feline herpes" and "conjunctivitis". I kept him on different meds for months and we made trip after trip to the vets office. After a trip to the specialist, the vet said that Kojak was born with a deformed eustation tube and would need someone who didn't mind caring for a special needs kitty. I knew that the chances of him finding a good forever home with that condition were slim; so long story short, I adopted my sweet baby boy! He still has health issues- one side of his eye is always runny and one side of his nose is as well and he sneezes snot quite a bit. He does not handle anestesia well (almost died on the table the day we neutered him, so a risky surgery isn't an option). I could not ask for a more sweet kitty though! Kojak is a little snuggler- he loves all other animals since he has been raised around other animals from day one!

Bio:
Kojak LOVES to play! He's a little goofbal and slightly confused as to what species he belongs to; he thinks he's a dog! He is constantly tries to steal dog food, dog toys, he sleeps with the dogs, plays with the dogs- you name it! He doesn't know he's a cat lol!
