He used to fuss over any wounded or rescued animal I brought home. He just wanted to take care of everyone. And he used to hug me - even the staff at the vets office had to come see us be reunited if he had to stay there overnight. He didn't just put his paws over my shoulder - he actually wrapped them around my neck and clung to me with the most awesome expression on his little face.
Glutton used to sit in the living room window and every cat in the neighborhood would gather outside - it looked like he was giving a speech! After he died, the cats would come around looking for him, but the gradually wandered off....all except a little feral calico kitty who would sit in the window 'talking' to me. She stayed around for a long time. I think she missed him as much as I did.
