Thank you, Catster, you choosing me as the DDP.
I am not 100% healthwise, but I am doing better than I was, thankfully. I just know that the extra purrs from Catster kitties will push me back to where I need to be.
I am tolerating the sub-q fluids well, even though I now get 100 cc's nightly. I DO take my pills, although not happily and I do LOVE the renal diet food, so that's good.
I will have a transfusion this week, hopefully to get my red cell count back up. Paws crossed, please, kitties.
I may be crabby most of the time, but I am so thankful that my family loves me just the way I am and didn't expect me to change when they brought me home 2 years ago. I was nearly at the bridge when I first met Mommy at the shelter and I've come so far. I'm not ready to give up. I just wish this body would stop doing things on its own!
Again, thanks to all my Catster friends, old and new and those about to be friends.
I may be the right amount of crabby, but I DO appreciate everything in my life.

I did eat breakfast, but didn't really touch my dinner. Mom says I don't look right today, and then I vomitted several times.
As soon as Daddy gets home, he and Mommy will give me my sub-q fluids.
I am scheduled to go into the hospital tomorrow anyway, to possibly get a blood transfusion because my HCT is dangerously low and I appear to be anemic. When I first got to the shelter, I was anemic and I recovered from that but I am not so sure this time, kitties.
Mom says she is scared but that she won't force me to do things that will make me miserable.
Mommy cries and the medical staff tells her to not get so worked up about numbers because I've gained a pound, my fur looks and feels really good and I am not 'clinical'. Up until today, I have been eating and drinking like a young tomcat!
Paws crossed, kitties.
I need some purrs.

But Mommy says that because my name is Hebrew and so lovely, we can honor our Jewish friends with the menorah background.
My name means "star" in Hebrew. So, during these longer nights, may stars shine on all of you, my Catster friends and bring blessings of all good things to you and yours, whatever holiday you celebrate.
