My sister Mochi and I live in a big ol' Victorian house in Buffalo. In general we love our digs, but sometimes we get kinda bored of the same rooms. So we're always very excited when we can escape out the back door and up into the attic of our house. And we're even more excited when we can do this in the spring, because it's HOT up there! I have been spending most of my daytime-sleeping hours in the attic for the past 2-3 days. There's not much to do up there, but man is it ever toasty. I LOVE THE ATTIC IN THE SPRINGTIME.

5. They make nice, squeaky sounds.
4. They're easy to chase/bat around.
3. They're always available- we get 'em by the boxful every week at my house.
2. They're light so I can dump the whole box with barely any effort.
1. They're fun to bathe in!
I wish my humans would let me play with peanuts unsupervised, but they're always watching to make sure I don't eat them. Bummer.

... is today, February 9, 2005. Why? Because I was selected as Catster's "Cat of the Day" today! I don't mean to brag or appear too prideful, but I'm so happy! One of my humans considered making me a crown for the day but my other human said I was spoiled enough already. Crown or no crown, I must admit that being Cat of the Day is a regal experience.
