Arrival Story:
She was at the shelter when i went to look for a cat back in '92. I was looking for a black cat, so I didn't pick her. I didn't choose any cat that day and returned a few weeks later. She was still there and they said she'd been there for months. She was a feral kitty, but when I picked her up, she hugged my neck, so I had to take her home. She was a handful at first but gradually mellowed.
She's had a chequered past healthwise as well, with bouts of terrible skin problems, diabetes, pancreatitis, liver problems, bad teeth, etc. She has overcome every one of them and is now a happy, relatively healthy, toothless kitty.
Bio:
She does NOT like other cats. She barely tolerates Greta, but this has changed from hissing at her constantly to tolerating Greta lying down next to her on the big chair pillow.
She is the smartest cat in the world.
