She loved her green ball which was like a hard, little bowling ball.

On the laundry when it came out of the dryer.

She was only allowed her medication cat food.

Arrival Story:
A few days before my birthday my mother and I went to North Shore Animal League to pick out a kitten. I had never owned or held a cat and was nervous. None of the cats felt comfortable going to me either. We were about to leave when my mother said "We haven't seen that one." I asked to hold her first and she went right to me. I said her name, (which was already chosen) and she looked up at me. She came home with us that day.
Bio:
Cherokee lived a comfortable, happy life for 8 years. On New Years Eve 2002, she had surgery to remove stones from her bladder. She was put on a special diet and could no longer have her favorite treats like 'Pounce' as well as pieces of ham or liver. She never seemed to mind and seemed very content with her bowl. Everything seemed very normal. Then on December 2nd 2003, Cherokee became very sick. The stones had returned but this time destroyed her kidneys which were failing progressively. On December 4th I made the heartbreaking decision to have her euthanized. Cherokee will always be my baby, now she is also my angel.
