Arrival Story: Crystal was a feral cat, but I captured her the day she was giving birth to her kittens out on the cool, wet Spring morning ground. I rescued all four of her kittens and placed them in a pet carrier outside in hopes that Crystal would go inside to her babies, but to no avail. She was way too frightful. So, the time came that I had to take the kittens in and dry them off and get them warmed up. We almost lost one of them, but my mother saved the little guy. I trapped mama in the pet carrier later that day with some tuna. New mamas are always so hungry and TUNA just seems to hit the spot! I successfully got her reunited with her babies and she immediately settled down and began to let me touch her and love on her. It was amazing!

Bio: We adopted out all of the kittens and had Crystal spayed. Crystal is NOT deaf. Crystal has turned out to be a beautifully loving, energetic, and talkative cat. She is tiny and has one blue eye and one gold eye. She has small curls on the tips of her ears - thanks to our friends on Catster, we found out that Crystal's curls were due to earmites. Now she has very pointed ears - looks like a little elf!
Praise God ~ Crystal will be staying in our home for the rest of her life. We adopted her out with Frosty and she would not eat, sleep, nor potty for two days. She wouldn't even come close to TUNA - so uncat like! Anyway, her new adopted mother brought her home for fear the cat would become dehydrated or get so upset to attack one of her children. Crystal is a great cat and most of the time it's like she's not even here except for when she climbs in my lap at night to watch television - that's the good part!!!
