Arrival Story:
We adopted her from West Oxfordshire Cat Protection during our overseas tour in England. I found her online and we drove an hour each way to meet her and a second time to pick her up (despite the fact there were other adoptable kitties 10 minutes away!). We picked her so she would match her brothers, be young and vivacious, but not a rambunctious kitten, and thought she might be a Daddy's Girl.
Bio:
Maya was abandoned by her original "owners" and was found by Cat Protection with her first litter when she was barely a year old :(. She stayed in several foster homes, including one where she had to fight with other cats and dogs to get enough to eat. As a consequence, she is a ravenous eater now!
