Birthday:
February 14th 2003

Likes:
those little mice toys mom buys in the grocery stores that have real fur on them

Pet-Peeves:
My 'hanai' brother "Rowling", he annoys me and then I have to show him who is 'alpha'

Favorite Toy:
the mice... or... Mom's hair when she is sleeping. I love to knead bread and drool all over her hair.

Favorite Nap Spot:
the sink, the bathtub, or stretched out on the cool linoleum floor

Favorite Food:
I love strawberries, pineapple, papaya, and most other fresh fruit. But I'm lactose intolerant, so I can't drink milk

Skills:
I am the best "small game hunter" in Hawaii. It annoys me when mom takes the geckos outside, instead of letting me kill them. I mean really! You leave one dead gecko on her pillow and...

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
Rowling and I were hanging out at "The Cat House" at the Maui Humane Shelter when we saw this woman and her son come into the visiting room. They looked kinda interesting, so we went to check them out. I, of course, was being very aloof, but Rowling (his real kitty name is 'Lightchaser') was all over them. It was disgusting! Anyway, turns out they were real nice people, so I warmed up to them. Especially the woman cuz she let me cuddle into her shoulder and hair. They took the two of us home. I think I was around 5 months old at the time.

Bio:
My real name (the one my kitty mom gave me) is "Lizard Slayer". My mom says that I am named after the engine in a truck, whatever that is. I think she's lying, though, cuz she has all these pictures on her computer of this guy named "Vin". All I know is I'm really cool, very fast when I see my prey, and I can kick Rowling's butt any day of the week.

The other day, Rowling and I overheard mom saying we are moving to another house. That'll be kinda cool, I think. We'll have more room to run around, and there are neighborhood cats we can watch from the back patio (whatever that is!).

Oh, and I almost forgot... mom is getting a new girl cat for Rowling and I to pick on. This is going to be great!

We're so sad.

Getting better

My eye is getting better. At the time, I tried to tell mom it was injured when I jumped into the sink and bonked my head on the spigot, but she wasn't listening. Anyway, I still sleep in the sink, but I'm more careful now.

Mom cleaned up the bathroom the other day and I got to play in the cloth shower curtains before she washed them in the big machine outside. Rowling was chasing me around the house, and I ducked under the pile in the living room. He couldn't find me! It was hilarious!

Then mom let us play with some feathers tied together on the end of a thin leather strap. I'm telling you, that leather smells and tastes WONDERFUL! I would eat it if mom would let me!

Oh no... here she comes... gotta go!
