Arrival Story:
I had just lost my beautiful 12-year old tabby, Boris, to lymphoma 6 weeks before bringing these guys home. Not only was I grieving over losing a friend who had been with me during the most important parts of my life, I had some pretty serious kitten fever and was miserable without a kitty in the house. I went to take a look at the boys after seeing a local shelter's listing for them on PetFinders. I held a little 10 week old Logan, and he was squirmy and didn't want to have anything to do with me. Then I picked up his brother. Lucky for all of us, his brother is a much better salesman than Logan, because he licked my hand and began purring immediately. That sealed the deal for both of them. I brought them home the same day. My life is a better place for having these happy, healthy, beautiful blue-eyed boys in it.

Bio:
Logan was named after Wolverine from X-Men. If I had known just how much this small, wiry little tough guy with sharp claws would live up to his name, I would have picked something safe and peaceful...like Fluffy...or Ghandi. Logan is a pretty independent boy. He doesn't trust people right away, and needs time to decide if the new person is worth his time. He still gets squirmy if you try to hold him, but once he decides he wants attention, he does everything he can to get it. He's still not a big fan of being held, but if he gets the attention he's asking for he'll settle in for a good snuggle (just don't tell him he's snuggling, because then he'll stop). He knows all he has to do to get my attention is to run towards me, with his head and tail held high, doing his little squeaky purr/meow as he runs. How can you ignore such a shameless display of cute? Also, in his spare time, he's an evil mastermind/genius and leader of the "Meezer Rebelyon"--a poorly spelled feline independence/world domination plot. He's a wily one, my little Logan...
