Quick Bio:

Gray and White

He absolulety loved to be cuddled. He would accually wrap his paws around my neck and hug and kiss my chin. He also loved to just be together with us and especially Smokey. Kirby was a one of a kind love bug.

He hated being left alone. He also hated it when he was being cuddled and Smokey tried to join in. Being brushed wasn't one of his favorite things either. Especially since his hair liked to get matted.

Favorite Toy:
He had this one toy that he loved to death and absolutely wouldn't share with Smokey. He'd accually play fetch with it. It was this little ball that rattled. The ball had this green thing wrapped around it and feathers sticking out the one end.

Favorite Nap Spot:
He loved to snuggle up in some blankets or on pillows.

Favorite Food:
Back then we didn't know about the food quality. He was just on meow mix.

He was amazing at melting your heart. He was just so sweet. He was also a great mouser for being a huge scardy cat :)

Arrival Story:
When I was looking through the classifides one day I saw that someone had a persian kitten for sale. At the time Smokey was our only baby and I thought it'd be nice for him to have a playmate. So, we went to see him and couldn't leave without him. He was such a cute little ball of fluff. He was so scared, completely un-socialized, and being kept alone in a dirty little cat carrier. On our way home we decided we would name him Kirby after the character in Kirby's dream world. He was always a scardy cat but he was the biggest love bug and became my baby.

As much as we loved Kirby we unfortunately had to give him up. When I went to the hospital to have my son, Kirby went into seperation anxiety. He started peeing on things throughout the house. He was so happy when we came home but no matter what we tried, we couldn't get him to stop. I didn't know about catster at the time where I probably could've found help. Being new parents, we were completely overwhelmed and didn't know what else to do. My husband ended up taking him to the humane society where he was adopted within a day. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him and wish he was here. He was my baby. I'm just hoping that wherever he is, he's still spreading as much love and joy as he always did with us. We love you Kirby and we miss you!
