Arrival Story:
Looking for a pet to adopt, we went to the local SPCA. We looked at all dogs and decided we did not have enough time to look after a dog, so a cat was the second choice. After looking at all available cats, we considered one that was not too hyper since we did not want all our furniture scratched up. One particular cage had a cat that was not making a lot of hissing noise or meowing sounds. Very quiet and loving she sat in there looking out to all those strange faces, perhaps even scared. We loved the temperament, we loved the coat colour, we loved the size, we loved her!!!! She came home that same day ;)

Bio:
Nadia first surprised us with her beautiful coat. Its gray colour seemed to change from white to almost black depending on the light it reflected. She can also stretch her legs up right like a gymnast (hence how we came up with her name). A few years ago, Nadia scared us when she would not eat much and started to turn yellow. A visit to the vet revealed some liver issues. Some medicines took care of the 'infection' and she is now very healthy, but the vet was surprised to see how well she had recovered from a very delicate condition.

Online Presence...

Meow:

I have been trying to have an 'online' presence since 1998 when I first discovered the web and learned my first HTML 'words'.

However, for some reasons unknown to me (and you will have to ask my servants for more details) we were not able to keep every webpage we had at the time. A look a those older pages will be added later

In short, I hope this one lasts so I can make more friends (it gets kind of lonely over here, being a Queen and all; you know, tight security, and such)

Meow, meow for now
^-^
