Getting Old is Hard

That Rhade is pulling my hair out

How could mom do this to me! She brought these two annoying kittens home several months ago a couple of months apart. Neelix isn't a bad kitten really, he knows his place in the clowder order. He listens when I tell him to get away from the food dish. But now, our feeder disappears during the day! Meow is that a pain, I've got to wait until it gets dark for a snack and then I've got to wait till bedtime for the feeder to reappear. Mom say's Neelix is getting fat and since he can eat our food it has to go in the closet so that he will loose weight. The young glutton! made us loose our feeder!

But that's not the worst of it. Oh No! this other kitten came a while after Neelix. His name is Rhade! the little upstart thinks he can take my rightful place as King of the Cats. He isn't the least bit respectful of my position at all!
He has the nerve to jump on my back, and swat at me the insolent little nobody. No amount of yelling, growling or swatting makes him realize his position in MY household. He backs off if I persist but only for a day, or even just a few hours. And he pulls mouths full of my beautiful black or white fur out. Nothing I do gets through to him. If I were younger I'd teach him some manners, I would. It sure is depressing getting older, especially with young kittens upsetting MY KINGDOM and routine. But, I must admit it isn't boring anymore. Farewell for now. Stahsh
