Panic Attack!

Hi kitties! My mom chose this song for me and dad said it was the perfect song for me! Since I am a former feral-- I was born outside in some bushes and I lived outside with my cat-momma until I was 4 months old--I still get really nervous and scared. Mom and dad say that sometimes I have this scared look on my face and my eyes grow wide. Every little thing startles me! But I am the lap kitty of the house and mom is proud of me that I trust her so much.

Kahlan's 2nd birthday!

I am two years old today!

Well, it is a little past midnight here in Texas and it is officially my birthday! I am two years old today(April 15th). I was born outdoors in some bushes to a feral kitty my Meowmie named Aphrodite. Now I live the life of luxury indoors(but I do try to sneak outside all the time when the front door is opened.) Please come to my birthday party; every kitty is invited!

Please pray for my momma's safe return!

My momma Aphrodite has been missing since Monday, August 1. Our dad let her out for a few mintues because she was meowing a the door to get out.
Our meowmie was at work and dad called her. Meowmie said to let her go out for just a few minutes and usually she doesn't want to stay out very long. When she was going around the corner to go back inside, an outside ac unit by our apt building turned on and it freaked her out. Our dad saw her run around the corner and he thought she went up the stairs, but when he got there, she wasn't there. He spent the next 4 hours until midnight looking for her. Meowmie looks all over every day for her. She is missed very much. I miss my momma!

Happy Purrday to me!

On Friday, April 15th, I celebrated my first birthday! Yay! Meowmie bought me some yummy treats! Nigel, my momma, Gimli, ( and even Isis!) surprised me with a party! The celebrations are still going on, so it's not to late to come on over!

Handsome!

Handsome is getting big! He''s 5.5 pounds now and he's not even four months old yet! I am as big as Aphrodite now. We both weigh 6.5 lbs. Our human dad said his name should be Gimli, but mom thinks he should be named Kal-El. Meowmie just uses the name Handsome as a temporary name, even though she still calls him Stumpy sometimes. He's got the longest back legs! He doesn't meow a lot. He mostly chirps and whines. His cat-dad is a brown spotted manx that someone left behind when they moved. Meowmie's been taking care of him and trying to find him a new home. He's a really sweet cat and wants to be an inside cat again. Meowmie doesn't know who my cat-dad is.

Successful surgery

I just wanted to let everyone know that Aphrodite's spay surgery went well. She is still tired and is resting. It's going to take a while for her to recover. She seems to be having a harder time than I did. She is all up to date on her shots now and is looking forward to a great life inside.

I miss my momma!

My cat mom Aphrodite went to the clinic this morning to get spayed and to receive all her vaccinations. Handsome and I are waiting patiently for her to come home this afternoon. She's a brave kitty!

My last v*t visit(until next year at least)

I got my stitches out on Friday at the ABC clinic. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. It didn't take long at all, but I was glad to be back home! So no kittens for me! Yay!
