Princesses are not afraid of the dark. This is a time for me to dream of kitty castles in catnip meadows. Yes, I am looking at the stars and purrring quietly to myself. I like this Earth Hour....nice calm darkness.

Purrrs to all pretty kitties and cool cats around the world,

What about our Garden?

Mommy Kitty and the neighbors are forgetting about the gardens! Packing only the "vital things". But what about our garden? We merrrove our garden. Mommy Kitty says she prays it will still be in tact when we return. But somehow, she is doubting it. If the hurricane winds stay intense and at high winds, then she fears the trees might get blown over. We are sooooooooooooooooo sad to even leave it all behind. I am sitting in the window just watching our garden. Everyone else is in high energy mode. This must be SERIOUS issues that are happening. For this, I wish ALL the best of luck and may God protect and guide them. Many heart felt purrayers, Princess Rachel. xo.

Here are 5 facts about me, Princess Rachel:

1. I am very fun kitty. I like to play fetch with my Baby Chicken. Anyone want to throw me a toy?
2. Nothing like being brushed & having my ears cleaned. Feels good! Makes me purrrr!
3. I am a picky eater. I only like tuna, salmon, and organic dry food. Well, Fancy Feast too...but only in beef.
4. The first tree I climbed was a 10 ft. pine. I was only 90 days old. Boy, was it exciting!!!!! It felt like I was on top of the world. Then Mommy plucked me off the trunk. :((
5. I am always the last to be served my food. Mommy tries to serve me first, but I make sure my siblings get their food first, then I will eat.

Okeeey-dokeeey, these are the cute kitties I tag:

Return of my Baby Chicken

Merrr-owww! Tonight's story is brought to you by Mommy Kitty and moi: Princess Rachel Kitty.
A while ago, there was this adorable little bitty kitty who was introduced to her new Mommy Kitty at 4 weeks of age. (Meep-meep, I was tiny.) My Mommy could not keep me, but my new Mommy Kitty and I were instantly catatonic for one another. As I rode home in the car with Mommy Kitty, I crawled into her overalls' pocket. It was located near her heart so I purrred and purrred. When I awoke, I noticed there was a little itty bitty meee-yellow baby chicken in the pocket with me. It was very warm and fuzzy and instantly, I fell hard for it. An itty bitty baby chicken and moi. My new furrrever friend.
Some reason, itty bitty baby chicken smelled sooooo delicious. MommyKitty later explained it has CATNIP, Baby Princess. And this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Baby Chicken went everywhere with us. In every room of the house, in the garden, on the road trips, to Gammy's house, everywhere! In fact, in the mornings, I would wake Mommy Kitty by jumping up on the bed with Baby Chicken in my mouth. Ever so pawsomely quiet, I would drop Baby Chicken next to Mommy's Kitty's face and Meep- meep at her. Finally, she opens her eyes and greets me with an " Oh my, Miss Princess Rachel. What do we have here? Baby Chicken wants to play? "
And then it happened! Mommy Kitty tossed Baby Chicken across the room and I shuddered to think what happened. Instinctively, I ran after her. "Don't leave me Baby Chicken. Come back. " I would put her back in my mouth and return her to Mommy Kitty. Mommy Kitty would say, "Bad Baby Chicken. No, no. You stay with Princess Rachel. We love Princess Rachel." Then somehow, Baby Chicken would fly across the room again. And I was not letting her out of my sight. I ran to retrieve her again. This happened about 10 times in a row. Everytime she flew, I captured her and returned her to Mommy Kitty.
Sometimes this happened in the evening too. Mommy Kitty always reprimanded Baby Chicken and I always did my part and kept her near Mommy Kitty. It must be that because she is a chicken, she spreads her wings and tries to fly. Thank goodness she can only fly about 15 ft. across the room. And I am FAST. Always on her tail.
One day we were playing and Nicolei, my Siberian Husky brother decided he wanted to play with Baby Chicken. Being that he is a bit bigger than moi, I agreed. But somehow, I never saw my Baby Chicken again. We think she flew away. At least, this is Mommy Kitty's answer to the confusion.
It has been 4 yrs. since we last saw Baby Chicken, until yesterday! Mommy Kitty found her and returned her to me. Somehow, she looks clean. Baby Chicken is spotless and smells soso good. Now we play together again...my Baby Chicken, Mommy Kitty and moi. Meep-meep and Peep-peep for my Baby Chicken.
The end!
All kitties and tigers sleep tight and dream of little angels and dragonflies....and baby chickens for all! xoxo's, Princess Rachel

Oh my goodness! Today, we heard little babies high in the tree in our garden! It was the Woodpecker family! More babies hatched. Mommy Kitty got a great photo of Mrs. Woodpecker peeping her head out of the nest...look under my photos and you can see her! Hopefully, we will have more photos of the babies soon! Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! Great Flying Cats! We Cannot believe it! Hope those little woodpeckers come down from their nest soon so we can have a closer look. And we will be NICE. Mommy Kitty does not let us near the babies.

There is also a photo of our garden but the sun was setting & I was hiding in the flowers. Too difficult to see me. :((

Happy Saturday and enjoy the rest of your weekend, Everyone!

Gotta pat on over to my sister Miss Puddles. She is laying in the window just watching nature. She is still recovering from having her fractured tooth removed. She must be feeling better because she shared her tuna with me and bathed me. She is the best sister furrrever!

Great headbonks to you all! xoxoxoxo, Princess Rachel "meep-meep!"

A Possum of a Tail to Share...

Bonjour, it is moi! Princess Rachel! Sending the most softest, kind kneads for all petite kitties and monsieur chats..XX!

Shhh! Here is a secret, although, MERR-OOOWW, I never tell secrets...rarely (rub-rub). I celebrated my birthday in April. Now Mommy has a surprise for my siblings! We are celebrating our anniversary of being together! Mamma Kitty adopted me in late April, found Lady Lena in May and Romeo in May and Puddles in June! When Poo-Bug is done with her teeth cleaning and tests on Friday, we will have a purrrfectly meowunderful cat-a-bration. Yet, we want to be ever so sure that my Poo-Bug is feeling better. Pleasssse, pleasssse, say at least one good purrrfectly kind thought & if you choose, prayer for Puddles. She has ALWAYS been there for everyone, including our Rabbit and Huskies. She keeps us clean, has fun with us and shows us new games and well, she is the cat's meow! I just LOVVVVVVVVVVE her! MERR-OOOWW!

Now! Would you like to listen to a possum of a tail? The past 5 nights, Mamma Kitty left some organic dry kitty food on the porch for our feline friend named of course, MERR-OOOWW, "FRIEND". Well, we sat near the door and windows looking for FRIEND and what do you know? This cat-ish of an animal walked up the sidewalk to our porch. She rubbed her nose on the window as if to say Meep! Then she began eating FRIEND'S special food. Oh MY GOODNESS! Lady Lena & Romeo just started purrring because they were so intent on staring at our new friend. And it was not FRIEND. It was a NEW POSSUM on the block. Our possum lives in the garden. And HE is a BOY! This is a new lady possum. And to our dismay, she had these purrrfectly petite babies on her belly. We were intrigued to say the least. We just sat purring and amazed at how close she got to us as she fed herself and cleaned her babies. And this is no possum of a tail! This trillly did happen! MERR-OOOWW!
We are expecting her tonight. She is our new guests. We understand she is close to Mr. Possum. I just hope they don't start hanging around in our trees in our garden! Well, only if they SHARE. It is great to have peace and share in our garden. What a cat's life! We are blessed! MERR-OOOWW!

Again, say a prayer for our one & only Puddles!

Merrr-night everybody! XO, Princess Rachel :))

Oui, meep-meep! My daddy is arriving home tomorrow. And I have kept his pillow warm for him since he has been in France. We miss him and the truth, Mommy keeps telling us how much fun we will have taking photos and playing when he gets home. Best part, I can sleep on his head. Did I say? I purrrrrrr nonstop when he is around and I love to sleep on his purrrrdy thick dark hair. He especially likes me to kneed him some biscuits. He is such a nice daddy! Lucky moi!
