Arrival Story: My friend wanted a kitten and asked me to help choose a cat at the SPCA. Of course, I happily obliged. I love animals so we went first chance. As the kittens were brought to us one at a time, the second kitten was place about 3 ft. from me on a bench. She was precious!!
(They all are!) But something was very special about little Rachel. She was only 4 weeks old and she was calm, alert, and talkative.
After a minute of watching me and talking, she steadily walked towards me and sat next to me, looking at me and meowing away.
She was trying so hard to tell me something...calmly tell me something. My heart heard everything! Next thing you know, I swooped her up and she crawled into my short overalls I was wearing. She hung one arm and her head outside so she could look around and talk....then she began to purrr loudly. Yes, it is fair to say, my heart was purring and I decided she was MINE.

Bio: Princess Rachel earned her name because she acts very kind, sweet and loving to other cats. She is very happy and always sits like a lady and lets them eat before she does. She rarely begs. She calmly sits by her bowl and waits. Naturally, she is the best behaved animal. Plus, she always comes when I say her name and is there continuously to give support and love. Thankful she came into our lives!

Princesses are not afraid of the dark. This is a time for me to dream of kitty castles in catnip meadows. Yes, I am looking at the stars and purrring quietly to myself. I like this Earth Hour....nice calm darkness.
Purrrs to all pretty kitties and cool cats around the world,
Princess Rachel xox

Mommy Kitty and the neighbors are forgetting about the gardens! Packing only the "vital things". But what about our garden? We merrrove our garden. Mommy Kitty says she prays it will still be in tact when we return. But somehow, she is doubting it. If the hurricane winds stay intense and at high winds, then she fears the trees might get blown over. We are sooooooooooooooooo sad to even leave it all behind. I am sitting in the window just watching our garden. Everyone else is in high energy mode. This must be SERIOUS issues that are happening. For this, I wish ALL the best of luck and may God protect and guide them. Many heart felt purrayers, Princess Rachel. xo.
