Buddy loves to have his impressive mane brushed and brushed. He is a very vain cat. He also likes to drink from the bathtub (it drips), which results in him having a wet head often.
Pet-Peeves:
Buddy hates to have me pull out mats or loose fur, even though he loves to look good. He also doesn't much care for the other male cat in the household, Teddy, and asserts his superiority regularly. He also hates vacuum cleaners and hair dryers.
Favorite Toy:
He likes anything with catnip in it. He also love to scratch up furniture.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Buddy has several favorite nap spots, usually near a heat vent or the sun.
Favorite Food:
Buddy eats mostly dry food, although he gets a small amount of wet food twice a day--only a small amount, since it almost always makes him throw up a hairball.
Skills:
He can make us get up in the middle of the night to open a closed door. He also paws at the floor in front of a water bowl. Not sure why but he seems to think he's accomplishing something...

Arrival Story:
He was my birthday present to myself. I had two aging cats and felt a kitten might spice up the household. He was the cutest little thing! The only kittens the Humane Society had were Buddy's litter. They were all black and looked pretty much alike, but Buddy was one of the only two who were awake, and he was very friendly and wanted to climb all over us, so that's how he got picked. I sometimes wish I'd adopted at least one of his siblings too. I wonder if they all turned out to look just like he does. I hope they all found good homes!
