Arrival Story:
Hi! :) I'm Peanut Butter Cup's mom, Linda. As you probably read, Peanut is a rescue cat. His mother showed up on my front porch one night in late summer. She was this beautiful, dark Tortie who was hugely pregnant. She was so, so sweet and gentle. When I opened my door, she walked right in and never left. I always intended on finding homes for all of them...I have asthma...but as time went on and they got bigger and bigger, I found that I wasn't quite as good at finding homes as I thought I would be. I had just about given up, and my heart was breaking, because I thought they would have to go to the pound. Then, I found Catster and knew that I had to try one more time. Peanut is a funny guy. He's quite big and very pretty...but instead of being like "you gotta love me," he's more like "I am the king...thank you very much." He likes his space and his respect. But when he wants attention, he demands that, too. It's like, "Okay...I'm ready to be petted and loved on now...thank you." He's a neat cat...very smart and unafraid (he was the first kitten to walk, the first to explore beyond his box, the first to eat solid food...). He was also the most playful of the kittens. I really, really want to see him get adopted, and I'm not above begging. :) I love him, and I think that he was given a second chance at life when I found his mother...and it can't end with him being surrendered to that horrible place. He is three years old, neutered, and healthy as a horse. He has an adoption fee of $35, but I'll let it go for the perfect home. I'm willing to drive him to his new home. Anything it takes... I hope you'll think about him.

We are in Alabama. I am willing to travel a reasonable distance to the perfect home, though.
