Arrival Story:
I found Firefly's mama pregnant and starving one summer evening. I have been rescuing animals for most of my life, but hesitated on taking in a cat about to have kittens. I have asthma. But I told myself that homes would be found, and everything would be okay. Well, three days later, five kittens came into the world. And three years later, I still have them all. So, I'm still trying to find forever homes for them. I built a cattery for them, because of my asthma, and they have to stay separate from the rest of the household. They are all wonderful animals who deserve homes of their own.

The Life Of A Firefly

Firefly has been adopted!! A very nice lady named LeAnn and her little girl fell in love with Firefly as soon as they learned of her. The little girl's cat had to be given away, and she was heartbroken. LeAnn was willing to do anything to make it better. Firefly was adopted on the spot, because she looks so much like the kitty that lost her home. ... Firefly will be living in Opelika, Alabama with LeAnn, her daughter, and three other female cats (all with Disney princess names). :) LeAnn's father is also very excited about bringing Firefly into their family.
