Quick Bio:
-pound cat

Birthday:
August 6th 1999

Coloration:
Black

Likes:
Napping in the sun. Taking naps on my roommates bed with the other kitties. Sitting on the newspaper while mommy is trying to read, it's so much fun! Catnip toys. Plotting Argos' demise. Trying to eat the thread out of the sewing machine.

Pet-Peeves:
That damn boxer!

Favorite Toy:
Rabbit fur balls, she loves to eat them. I became worried one time when her poop came out blue after she ate the skin off of one but I quickly figured out what it was

Favorite Nap Spot:
On my roommates bed or infront of the sliding glass door........unless that damn boxer is there. Curse him!

Favorite Food:
Canned cat food. She's too grown for people food.

Skills:
Dramatically yowling when she is in my bedroom and the door is closed. You would think she is being skinned alive. She is also good at being a terrible model.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
After I lost my beloved Himalayan Harley I decided I would like to add a new cat to my family. A friend and I went to the SF county shelter to look at cats. I had wanted an adult cat since I figured the kittens had a much better chance at being adopted then the adults. As I kept passing by this cage a little black paw kept reaching out to me. I tried to resist and look at the adult cats but she just kept drawing me in with her cuteness and they way she would come up to the cage and meow when I would stop. My friend kept going over to the cage as well, sucked in by her cuteness and personality saying how much she liked this kitten. After taking her out and playing with her it was all over. She was mine.

Bio:
Molly has been a great addition to my family. She was my first cat after the death of Harley, and a great comfort. After I picked her up from the shelter she got to ride home on BART (the Bay Area version of the subway) with me in her box and made many new friends. She's been a healthy cat but a few years ago she developed a compulsive grooming habit, which can be seen in her pic where she's napping on the heater. I consulted three different vets about it but none had any way to stop her from doing it. After we moved back to our home town of Sacramento it slowly stopped. Her belly gets a little thin from time to time but it's noting like it was. My roommate thinks that may be because she is living around other animals besides Choo Choo that the additional activity might be drawing attention away from making herself bald. Whatever it is I'm glad to see an almost full coat on her again, she has such lovely black fur. Molly is also a big fan of the fireplace, when a fire is going it's her favorite TV show.
