Arrival Story:
After our kitty Yuri passed away we were terribly sad for quite some time... we still had Luxe to keep us company, but she was also sad that che lost her companion. She began to lick herself compulsively because she did not have another cat to groom... and licked all the fur off of her butt and legs!! After a while my boyfriend and I decided to get another companion for her. We began looking and everytime we found a kitty, it would seem to fall through somehow, until I found Nik. I saw him at Petsmart and he looked lonely so I went in to pet him and found that he was one of the most affectionate cats I've ever seen. He reminded me of how Yuri used to act with me and I decided then, that he needed a loving family to take him in. I did end up adopting him from Petsmart... and renaming him (his name was Felix) and from the minute he came into our home he was as happy and as comfortable as can be. Although Luxey still does not care for him yet(it's only been a week or so) I'm sure she will come to love him like her daddy and I do.
