Arrival Story: Sandy is a rescue kitty from neglect. We took him from a live where he was unwanted to a life of constant love! He was a very sick kitty when we came upon him. He had two emergencies were he nearly died. He has been in an out of the vet ever since we've had him. Sandy has been recently diagnosed with feline asthma and is being medicated. We are waiting on our vet for the availability of a feline inhaler(forgot proper name). If left where he was, it's no doubt to our vet that he would have died. With love and care he has endured!
Bio: He's about a year and a half (according to our vet) We weren't sure of his breed at first. We looked through many cat breeds and the best we came up with was a Tonk. Later, are neighbor told us he was a Snowshoe.(which makes perfect sense now;) Though we don't know his past, we do know he is the sweetest little guy! He seems to like everyone he comes in contact with. He is not a one person cat; he makes it a point to show affection to both my boyfriend and myself. Though our other cat wasn't too sure about Sandy when he first arrived, after a few weeks she came around. That's just Sandy, you can't help but fall in love;)
This Friday my parent's came home with this weird contraption. It was some kind of plastic mask that went over my nose and mouth. It made me feel like Darth Vader or something. They told me it was an inhaler to help with my feline asthma. They attached a green tube to the back of the mask and stuck a smaller metal tube into that. All was ok until this horrible medicine spray came at me. I scatched my mom a little cause I was scared. They felt bad and haven't sprayed any icky medicine again. They are still putting the mask over my face and giving me treats. I have a feeling the spray medicine will be back. Well, I may not like it, but I trust them and know their trying to help me.
Found a cool new place to explore in the basement! It's this large hole in the wall. I can go under our next door neighbors building a bit. This is so cool! My human's aren't so sure, but their letting me explore for the time being. Better make the best of it;)
