indoors Arrival Story: Like most of the AAWL's animals, Neptune came to us from the Maricopa County Animal Control (the local "pound"). All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Visit our other adoptable animals at www.aawl.org. Bio: Neptune may be named for a planet that's far away, but this kitty is down to Earth. His first priority, after a yummy meal, is interacting with his two-legged friends. Quite the snuggler, laptimes is one of his favorite ways to bond; if he doesn't think the lap will be forthcoming, he'll oh-so-gently nudge the nearest hand to ask permission to get close. In fact, "the closer the better" is Neptune's philosophy: he'll purr up a storm if you pick him up in your arms, nestling up against you and resting his head on your shoulder. This gentle sweetie is laidback with most people and even enjoys the daily brushing that his long fur requires. Neptune's adoption fee is $95. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9
