Buster had a time where he wanted to be fed at 2am and wouldn't stop yowling or getting into trouble (ex. biting his sister) until he was fed THEN.
Favorite Toy:
Buster's favorite toy was the fishing pole with string. The string didnt need to have anything on the end and it was always kept out of his reach when mama wasn't home.

Buster was my (his mama's) "nurse" when I was sick, often sleeping next to me in bed.
Arrival Story:
Buster & his sister Greta were adopted in 1999 from a farm family at 5 weeks old. (I didn't know they were so young until I took them to the vet.) They both were very sick and the vet & I, along with much prayer and TLC, brought them back to health and they've been fine ever since.
Bio:
Buster became obese as a kitten, partly because he wasn't given the right food before he was adopted (he was being given adult dry cat food). Because he couldn't eat what was given - it was too big and hard for his still small mouth and teeth - he & his sister had digestive problems. Buster however was so hungry as a result that he overate.
Buster was a high-strung cat. I describe him as "the definition of a fraidycat." Sudden movements or noises always scared him. He often ate all the time, probably seeing food as a comfort when I (his mama) was away or at work or perhaps to calm him down. Also, his sister didn't like him that much (even though he was the bigger of the 2) and she would swat at him or hiss every time she passed him by. Buster would try to get revenge by biting her on the neck or rear end, which always made Greta scream and would scare me (his mama).
Buster had heart trouble too because of his obesity. He had a heart murmur as a kitten, whom one vet claims was healed up. But in November 2007 Buster was found panting and not drinking. He was brought to the vet and diagnosed with heart failure & fluid in the lungs, which was partly brought on by the murmur and also probably by his obesity. Buster was given treatment and medications for this but only lasted about 2 1/2 months. In late January, Buster's symptoms of panting returned, this time along with not eating, drinking, and lethargy. On January 30, 2008, Buster went to kitty heaven as a result of these symptoms.
Rest in peace, my beautiful little boy.

Tank you fur all your gifts, comments, rosettes, and messages on what would have been my 12th birthday. I am SO happy in heaven...I miss my mama but with GOD's help I sent her 2 kitties to replace me.

Well it's been ofur a year since I wrote. I've been a busy kitty up here in heaven, chasing mice, frolicking with ofur kitties, and just relaxing and enjoying things.
I wanted to say TANK YOU for my gifts! I get mouseburgers here all the time. If there are any of you kitties about to cross the bridge ofur to heaven, be sure to check out Mac's Mouseburgers. They're really good! Then there's also a place that sells hot dogs, but not made from dogs of course. (I dunno what they're made of) and a CATNIP ice cream stand....a restaurant with moles to eat and treats all the time....and best of all NO WEIGHT GAIN! So I can have a feast and not worry about getting fat! I will be glad to take any Rainbow Bridge kitties on a tour of heaven too.
I also have been to this neat toy store up in heaven that has balls, yarn, and ofur fun toys. They're all FREE and they won't hurt me if I ingest them.
OK I'm going to go and fly around fur a while.

Well mama got the 2009 cat calendar today from Pageaday.com and the picture of me she submitted was NOT in there.
Only the Lord knows why that happened, but mama's sad that I didn't make it.
Oh well.
