Arrival Story:
It was just me and my dog living alone and it was time to open our home to a needy kitty. We went to The Last Post in Kent, CT and visited with dozens of cats of all types and ages. Honey was following me around and since she was unfazed by my dog, she came home with me.

Bio:
Honey is a short hair orange and white tiger. In January of '07 she was diagnosed with Kidney disease. So far, with the special diet and additional fluids, she is getting along just fine. No one would suspect that she is sick by the way she behaves, she is just as demanding for attention... and food, as ever. 1 year and 9 months after her diagnosis, we had to make the decision to let Honey go. Her kidneys were failing, she dropped over 3 lbs and had little or no appetite even for tuna or deli meat. We are going to miss our little pest cat very very much, the house seems a bit quieter without her around.
