indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: My husband's late wife, Liz brought Maggot home when she was just two months old. She was "her" cat alone and would have nothing to do with anyone else. When Liz developed an incurable disease, Maggot gradually withdrew from her as though she knew she wouldn't be around very long.
My husband and I married in 2002 and she became my baby. She loved being cuddled and lay in my lap ever chance she got. Bio: We live in the country and my husband raised birddogs and every evening as he cleaned out the pens, he would let each dog (one at a time) run around in the field getting their exercise before putting them back up. When they would come running up to Maggot, she would box their ears and they would run away yelping. She wasn't afraid of anything. She lived inside/outside, but preferred the outside when the weather permitted. Even so, she was 21 years old, when one day last year, she just dissappeared and we never knew what happened to her. We walked every inch of our land and never found her. We miss her terribly. I've Been On Catster Since:
