indoors Arrival Story: Like most of the AAWL's animals, Elizabeth came to us from Maricopa County Animal Control (the local "pound"). All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Visit our other adoptable animals at www.aawl.org. Bio: What's that strange noise? It's Elizabeth's meow, which is so stilted that it's clearly distinguishable from her housemates. All the volunteers know when Elizabeth is demanding attention. Because she's an independent girl, she's not embarrassed by the somewhat silly sound she makes. She simply strolls around looking for a bit of playtime: when a toy strikes her fancy, her eyes get super duper wide and she's off! As an independent cat, Elizabeth wants attention on her terms, although she's never far away from where the people are. Elizabeth shouldn't live with dogs or young children but she may be able to live with one or two polite cats. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9
