Sebastian likes chasing his tail at the top of the cat tree. I always try to get a picture of him doing this, but he always stops before I can get my camera.

Sebastian doesn't like drinking directly from a bowl. He uses his paw to scoop up what I want to drink.

His own tail.

Sebastian's special skill is not falling off the cat tree when he chases his tail.

Arrival Story:
Sebastian and his littermate Simba were brought to my parents home when they were only three weeks old. My sister had rescued them after the other three kittens in the litter had died. They were so covered with fleas, that their skin was not even visible. They were so weak, they couldn't even lift up their heads. I spent four hours de-fleaing them, expecting them to die in my hands as I worked to get every last flea off of them. We never expeted them to survive, but with a lot of hard work from both my mother and me, we were able to save them. Had there not been two, I'm sure they would not have survived. They kept each other warm, and we always knew who the sickest kitten was, by which kitten was on top. The top kitten kept the sicker kitten warm. Going on ten years later, Sebastian is now the eldest of our pets. Sebastian was attacked at mortally wounded by a foster dog in November of 2010 and had to to euthanized. I was devastated.

Bio:
Sebastian and Simba were my family's first cats. The joke at our house was that my father said we could keep them as long as they were kittens, but once they were cats, we'd have to find them a home. Five years later, Dad would come home, look at the two Cats who greeted him, and say "Good thing you never turned into Cats."
