Busy, busy, busy...

Wow, I'm running around like a kitten these days. Catster is getting larger and larger everyday and I'm running around checking in with all my groups/pals. I'm gonna need to start taking the taxi cat! whew!

I have an adopted kitten named Oreo that I am taking care of. Plus I'm growing catnip in my All FUR Fun garden. Busy! I also have to practice my fishing technics for the All FUR Fun fishing tournament. That's a biggy! I love fishies. Yum!

But with all this activity...time fur a nap!

It's an interesting thought, but this quote assumes that I do things wrong. I have pretty much aged to purr-fection, like a fine wine, so this isn't really applicable. But if I remember back to kittenhood, this would have been very useful then. Hmm...and I know exactly which pup I could have blamed...

My new diary tradition...

Since I'm an old farte, I love to spend most of my days laying in a sunny window napping and pondering life and the world. I want to share some of my thoughts with all of you furs here. So once a week, I will try to add a new kitty quote here to shine light on just how important us cats are.

My first quote is especially true...

This quote is especially important! To many times our human families take life to seriously. We need to show them the important things in life...relax and enjoy just being. Life goes by too fast otherwise. So whenever possible nap in front of your families so that they can hopefully see the importance of ignoring the troubles of daily life and relaxing completely.

My Great Day continues...

MOL, yesterday was one of my best Birthday's ever and it has continued into today! I found out this morning that one of my St Paddy Photos WON the Royal Feline Groups Editted St Patty Kitty Photo contest. There were so many great photos that I'm just in shock that I won. I most have been my Birthday Luck that carried me through.

Plus I found that I had lots of pmails and treats and pal requests. Wow! What a lucky kitty I am! I'm so glad my fur-family found Catster! Thanks everyfur!

It's my Birthday!!!

I turned 14 today and it's been a wonderful day so far. I've taken my share of naps in all of the sunny windows. It is a beautiful spring day with blue skies everywhere. Spring has sprung! I know I will have turkey for dinner tonight when my pawrents get home. Plus to top it all off, I found out today that my St Patricks Day page won 3rd place in the All FUR Fun contest! Wow, all the pages entered were pawesome, so I feel really honored to be 3rd. One of my St Patty photos won 2nd place in the All Fur Fun editted kitty photo contest. And another one, won 3rd place in the Planet Hollywood editted kitty photo contest. Wow, today is a really good day!

It's a good day to be Orange

Spring is in the air, the snow is melting, my crazy brother is spending more time outside AND it's my 14th birthday tomorrow. Life is good! The sun shine through the windows is becoming stronger and some of my favorite sunning spots are open for business. The birds are returning to give me entertainment through out the day. Spring in New England is a wonderful time.

Only down side is my mother is starting me on a little exercise routine, which I'm not thrilled about, but what can you do. I guess we are going to go on walks around the farm. I'll do it as long as she doesn't get that silly harness thing out. The indesency of that thing. The last time she put that on me, we didn't go anywhere. I rolled over on my back and tried to chew it off. I refused to move with it. I mean really...no self-respecting orangie is going to walk around on a 'leash'. OMC...it's so, so...dog-like. I know what you are thinking...I won't wear a harness but I'm dolled up in this bunny costume for Easter. Well, if it is one thing I have learned in my soon to be 14 years...it's that you pick your battles with Mom. And I just wasn't going to win that one.

Well that is my update...I must go finish grooming my pretty orange coat.

Green looks good on me!

Oh my favorite month of the year! Leading up to my Birthday AND St Patrick's Day! I get to dress in green and celebrate. Green really is a nice color on me. It brings out the deep orange color of my coat. And now that I had that tooth removed, my coat is shinier and softer than ever. It's good to be orange and it's good to be born on a green holiday!

Orange Cats Unite!

Well, we all know that Orange is a special color. As Kermit used to say...it's not easy being green. Well it's not easy being orange either. But I wouldn't trade my beautiful brazen coat for anything. It gives me character and lets me stand out in a crowd. Look at the famous orange cats of the world...Garfield, Heathcliff, MORRIS! Yes, it's true, us orange cats can be a bit ornary at times, but really we are just misunderstood.
