Mom, we aren't sleepy!

Last night the gang and I decided we wanted to stay up late. We usually go to bed with mom around 9:30, but we just weren't tired yesterday. So we hung around downstairs for a couple of hours. Oh boy, was mom MAD!

I have to admit, we were making an a lot of noise, and she has to get up early to go to work. After a while she got out of bed and yelled at us to stop making noise and come to bed.

Yikes! We didn't realize we were being THAT noisy. I felt bad. Maks was the first one to go upstairs. We sent him because he purrs the most, so we figured he could soften mom up a bit. It worked.

We did finally settle in. Poor mom though, she woke up late and had to rush out. She didn't even get a chance to play or talk with us much like she usually does. Maybe we should let her sleep tonight.

Weekend stuff

This weekend was pretty non-eventful. At least for us boys. I woke mom up early for our breakfast, I know she appreciates that, so I'm glad to do if for her. She gave us some food and then went up to her room to take a shower. Apparently this is something people do a lot. She gives us a bath once a month, which is okay I suppose, but I wouldn't like it every day.

I went up to keep her company. Then she started getting ready, but I knew she wasn't going to work, since she was dressed differently. As soon as we went down, she took Oksana's carrier. I saw her reach for mine too, and started to get nervous. Then she put Kiska inside so I knew I wasn't going anywhere.

I heard mom telling Oksana it was her turn for the wellness exam. I did that last month. They stuck some needle in me and took some of my blood. I wondered why the heck they did that, but mom said it was for my own good. Okay, I get stuck with a needle and it's for my own good? Sorry mom, that's not flying with me.

Mom left with the girls and Maks and I ran around for a bit then took a nap. After they all came home, mom started to clean out litter box. There's nothing like nice clean brand new litter to mess up.

Saturday went by pretty fast. We all just relaxed and didn't do much.

Sunday a new friend of mom's came and they went out to breakfast. I'm not sure if I like this guy. He seems okay, but mom said he talks too much and doesn't let her say much. Mom's not a talker, but she likes to get in a few words now and then.

She came home and spent the rest of the day with us. Oksana and her went up and took a nap for a bit. I would have gone up too, but I was just way comfortable on my chair.

Today is really dark outside. Nice sleeping weather.

That's about it. Nothing new and exciting happening down this way.

Friday fun

What a week! Where we live the roofs are being fixed. So when mom got home on Tuesday the air conditioning wasn't working. And was she mad!

She was none too happy when she realized the roofers turned off the air until they finished with everything. We all slept up in her room, like we always do, but it was so hot!

Maks kept trying to fight with Kiska and Oksana. Kiska doesn't let him push her around, but he can handle her. LOL, but boy, I've told him not to mess with Oksana and that kitty will never listen. She gave him a good how do you do and he hightailed it away from her. I was getting ready to intervene to. I'm the Alpha around here after all.

The following day it was just terrible. We were all so hot. Mom almost took us to the vet's office to spend the night, but they managed to get the air back on. I was glad because I didn't want to leave the house or mom.

Today I'm looking forward to just relaxing. We have a do nothing weekend planned. I'm happy because for the last two weekends mom has been in a class and she has been so busy. But she said this weekend was all for us.

Well gotta go. I think I hear a commotion in the other room. Gotta bust some kitty heads.
