Arrival Story: Wally was one of 3 kittens that were going to be taken to animal control, I went to see them with my then boyfriends mother and I took the 2 females, Emmy and Marigold who is still wth me ....about a month later she decided she did not want Wally so he came to live with me! Wally was a typical loving red boy he and Pippin became best buddies, he was such a sweet little boy....

Bio: Wally became sick when he was around 6 months old, he ran a very high temperature (106) in the beginning we thought he was coming down with an upper respiratory infection but we came to realize that he had the dry form of FIP. He lost his appetite and I would honestly cook him or buy him anything to get him to eat....the vet and I did everything possible , I even spent a fortune at a homeopathic vet as well but to no avail. One day I came home from work and he met me at the door, there was such misery in his eyes , I knew I had to let him go, I had probably waited too long, I picked up his tiny frail body and you could feel his enlarged kidneys under his skin...my vet at the time was a saint, he helped send Wally to the bridge and actually drove me home because I was such a wreck. I still have a gold locket with a tiny picture of Wally and a lock of his hair in it...
