indoors Arrival Story: I rescued Pebbles from a local shelter. I was told that she was six weeks old, but she was so tiny and weighed only 15 ounces when weighed by the vet. He said that she was not more than three weeks old. She had been fed at the shelter kitten food and consequently had very bad diarrhea. She lost down to 10 ounces, causing numerous trips to the vet. I had to feed her by syringe with a supplement. She finally rallied and started gaining weight, but she never was a very large kitty in the two years that we had her. She would travel with us in our fifth-wheel RV and had racked up quite a few miles. Like PJ, she loved riding in the back of our pickup while traveling. Sadly, in April of last year we lost her.
