Arrival Story:
White Kitty has adopted us, I guess. He has been coming around here to eat for at least four years. No one seems to claim him, and we are not sure just where he sleeps although at times, we find him up sleeping in our boat. Has has fathered numerous kittens, mostly by Thumper prior to having her spayed. He is very skitterish and will not let any of us go near him, he just runs away, not far, but enough that we can't "get him". If we could, we would take him and have him neutered and keep the kitten population down. We wish we could trap him, but once we set out a cage trap to catch a raccoon, and the next morning there he was, trapped and scared to death. When I let him loose, he stayed away for nearly a week, so he is very leery of any type of trap we might set.
