Arrival Story:
I saw 3-day-old Jasmin at a shelter where she'd been born. I fell in love with her then and phoned the shelter daily for updates - and to remind them to save her for me. Six weeks later I picked her up. She was already a sweet, sensitive lady, an empress, a muse....

Bio:
Last year I began to be very quiet, hardly moving at all when I was alone in the house. My weight began to climb more than I did. My doctor told my human that I'd live longer and healthier if I had a companion; and since I don't normally care for other cats, a very young kitten of the opposite sex would be an easier adjustment for me than an adult cat or another female. My human hoped to fool me into adopting a kitten by finding one she thought would grow up to look like me. I was never fooled but do enjoy watching the little guy do all his silly stuff... How could anyone ever have thought I'd mistake such a funny little guy for my own kitten? I'm an empress; he's the court jester!
