It's a girl!

nap time

I got so comfy in the sun yesterday that I fell asleep...in the litterbox! I didn't lay down, I was just sitting upright and fell asleep somehow. My mom laughed at me and my silly kitten cuteness! And who could blame her? I'm adorable!! :)

Well, the spaying thing was kinda weird. I was really woozy when I got home and just wanted to sleep. After I woke up, I noticed some string on my belly which I promptly chewed on. I was very proud at my ability to untie knots but my mom was very unhappy with me. She loaded me up into the carrier and we went to the emergency vet office because I had a big open hole in my tummy. Guess I shouldn't have untied those knots after all because the new vet put four STAPLES in my belly!!! I howled my indignation but no one seemed to care.

Delilah and I went to Dr McDaniel today for a post op checkup. It was a quick visit since the doctor just removed Delilah's stitch and my staples. I managed to lose two of them somehow... :)

No longer Charley

Well, it's official. The humans have finally figured out that I'm a little girl kitty and my name is now Sweetpea. I was very annoyed when they kept calling me Charley and Little Man!

Delilah and I are going to the vet tomorrow to be spayed, whatever that means. We're also going to get the last shots on our kitten plan. Yay! I hate shots!

My mom trimmed my toenails today and I didn't mind one bit. I sat still like a big girl and didn't fuss at all.

I miss my cat mom so much. I was separated from her at such a young age during the hurricane. When I get really sad, I seek comfort with Samson. I even try to nurse from him!! I know it's silly but he doesn't seem to mind and it makes me happy and content.

Well, Delilah and I can't have food or water after midnight so I better go chow down! I'll talk to you later. meow
