*Spoiled* Little Miss C.~

I have an urinary tract infection.

Mom has noticed that for the past few days I haven't been peeing at all. She called the vet and he said I have an urinary tract infection called cystitis. He said to give me half a pill at every 12 hours. Turns out that medicine made me throw up all over the house. Mom called him again and he said to give me a diferent medicine 20 minutes before the pills, to prevent vomiting. He also said to reduce the portions to 1/3 of a pill, mixed with water and given to me in a seringe. That sure is some nasty stuff!
I hope I feel better soon. That stuff is gross. Cystitis isn't serious, but if I don't feel better in around 3 days Mom is gonna have to take me to the vet clinic for him to get a closer look. Wish me luck!

I'm getting a doggy sister!!

Yes, it's true. Everything is planned out already!

Mommy found the doggy on the internet, and met her today for the first time, she's IN LOVE!! We can only take her in by January, since that is when we move into a house with a bigger yard and stuff. xD

For now, her name is Raica, but Mommy will call her Skye. She can't wait!! Also, Skye is very good with cats! They have two kitties at her fostser home and Skye plays with them and loves to snuggle xD

My first photoshoot!

Dear Diary and pals,

Yesterday I had my first photoshoot.

Mommy put up a white sheet on two chairs. Mom dressed me up a bit and, since I am trained, she'd tell me to sit, and I'd sit down for my pictures. I had just woken up so I was behaving really well and being a good girl, and just posing really pretty for the pictures. Later on I ended up getting really excited and started playing around with the white sheet. I kept hiding behind it. I dropped the entire sheet like three times. So Mommy gave up for the night. She took some good pictures, I can't wait to put them up! :D
She wants to make another photoshoot soon. The best thing about it all, is that I get many treats!

We're MOVING! :D

Looks like the humans baught a house and we're moving in December! Which is great, because I really don't enjoy life in an apartment as much as in a house. I can't wait!!

The only flaw I see, is that Mom says she'll get a dog as soon as we move... Ah, COME ON! A DOOOGG???!!!! What for? Why would she want one of these useless drooling creatures if she has a delicate and royal feline like pretty petite MOI?!! Sometimes I think humans don't think... *rolls eyes*

AND THE WORSE PART IS...

Mom already knows the day she wants to get her dog... JANUARY 16th. Do you guys know what January 16th is??!! My adoption day!! Yes. Mom wants to get me a DOG as an adoption day birthday present. YUCK!!

Oh well. Maybe I can restle it, that might be fun... Or not...

I've been going to the beach a lot.

Well, you all know I have a beach house and all. xD
Lately we've been going pretty much every weekend, because the humans need to solve some stuff about Mom's grandparents moving to the beach. Ah well, who cares...

Anyways, I've been enjoying it a lot, since I love the garden and plants and all that. Lately I've been wondering pretty much out of the gate, so mom worries I might wonder off. But I won't. I'm really scared of the street, and cars, and stuffs like that. Plus, I've had a traumatizing experience on my first week in my new home, it's in one of my first diary entries. ^^

Mom is also worried that I've been an awful lot interested in the birdies. She thinks I'm gonna end up catching one and EATING it!! =o Well, I have heard from some pals that birdies taste good... Hehehe.

Guess what?? Momma could teach me how to lie down now! Now I know TWO tricks: SIT and DOWN!

Momma tells me "Cherry, sit!" and I'll sit pretty for the treat. And then she says "Cherry, down!" and I'll lie down pretty for the treat.

Actually momma can't wait until she gets a dog, by the beggining of next year. She says dogs are easier to train. Hmf. Cats WILL take over the world, and the dogs won't be able to do anything about it.

HAHAHA.

*sigh* My humans are crazy!

So basically today I'll just tell you what happens to me pretty much everyday...

My humans are crazy...

For some reason, mom's dad always grabs me when I'm sleeping, and takes me to mom... He says:

"LOOK WHAT I FOUND, LAUREN!!!"

And mom goes:

"OMG! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT???!!!"

And I'm like:

*sigh*

And mom's dad is like:

"I DON'T KNOW! I FOUND IT SLEEPING ON THE BED!"

And mom is like poking me all over, and then she grabs my tail and she says:

"I THINK THIS IS THE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM! TRY TALKING TO IT!!"

And dad is like talking to the tip of my tail:

"HELLO CREATURE FROM ANOTHER PLANET! WE COME IN PEACE!! DO YOU UN-DER-STAN.. ME???!!!"

And I'm like:

"Geez.. And they think they're smart..."

And it pretty much goes on and on like that.. If you completely didn't understand this entry, don't worry, you're not the only one. I don't understand it either... All I know is that my humans are crazy! LOL!

I'm an only child today.

A couple of months ago, I had a brother and two sisters.
Wendy passed away.
A couple of days ago, I had a brother and one sister.
Muffin passed away.
Yesterday I had one sister.
Ginger is being rehomed.
And now I'm an only child.

This around here have been really sad. =[
I'm sure nothing will happen to me. Ginger is being rehomed this afternoon [[if you guys have the time, it would mean a lot if you could read her diary to know WHY]]. And I'll be an only child.
Mom is sad, but she's glad she has me to comfort her. She loves me so much, nothing can ever happen to me.

Ginger will be fine in her new home, she'll be happier. To be honest, I think I'll be happier too. After all, she is a D-O-G, you know. ;)

He's gone. Muffin is gone.

Oh my gosh...

I'll let mom write this entry for me...

I am heartbroken. I got home today and my dad sadly told me that Muffin, my Guinea Pig passed away today. I don't know what to do, I've been crying non stop ever since. He was my favorite little baby, in the world.
I can't see to type anymore. I'll post more details later on.

OMG! Mom is AMAZED!♥

Well, first of all, mom has been out for the past... Pretty much 20 days. Sh went to Argentina for vacations and got back last Saturday. Which was AWESOMEEE since I got back home too. ^^ I was at the vet's house. He's a really nice guy, and he loveeeesss [♥] me. Mom says I'm fat though. Hmff.. Fat... >____>

Okiee.. Now to the really COOL stuff. xD

I CAN SIT!!!!
Yes, it's true! Mom taught me how to sit when she got back home from school today. She's sooo excited! =D
If anyone wants to know how she did it [cause cats aren't exactly the most trainable animals, ya know. We, unlike our canine cousins, usually have a mind of our own. ^^ ] here's how:
She got a treat and kept repeating "Cherry, sit!" until I sat down. Then she'd give me the treat and lots of love.[♥] She just repeated this a couple of times and I would do it straight and sit pretty for the treat. Mom is so excited and proud of herself! =D
I mean, she has trained like a gazillion tricks to Ginger, but she could never train a cat before. She says the next step is to lie down. I can't wait! After all, more training means more treats. ;)

We'll show those dogs that we shall rule the world. 8D

Dear Diary...

Wow, I haven't written in a long time! =o

Well, tons of things have happened.
First of all, I got a super duper cool new PINK bed from my pawrents!! :D You can see it in my main picture. Doesn't it look extra comfy and girly?? *batting eyelashes*

I also got a super duper cool package from my bestest palee Bosco and his dad Bob! They are super duper cool pals, we luffles them lots xD Bosco sent me an adorable teddy bear, that I decided to call... BOSCO! ;D And Bob sent a really cool T-shirt to my mommy! We ♥ you guys!

Well, I finally got SPAYED! =o Daddy took me to the vet at 9:30 am and picked me up in the afternoon. I slept aaaallll day long that day. The vet said I should keep quiet and sleep, to have a nice and steady recovery. Well guess what. Next day I was running all over the house as usual. I AM hyper, you know! How do you expect a hyper kitty to keep quiet and sleep??? *rolls eyes* Silly humans...

Well, 11 days later [yesterday] I went to the vet again. He finally got that nasty bandage off my tummy and finally removed those ugly little black thingys holding my tummy together. Mommy said they are called stitches...

I'm getting spayed!

Dear Diary,

I have some terrible news! Well, at least I think I have bad news... Let's start from the beggining...

Well, it all started loooong ago... That is, yesterday. I'm in heat for the second time now, and this time it's definetly noticeable! Hehe Daddy says it's WEIRD *rolls eyes* Hmpf... Daddies... So daddy is kinda weirded out by me right now. Let's not get into details as to why he's weirded out...

Well anyways, he called the vet yesterday and asked about prices of spaying and stuff. He'll take me there as soon as I'm done with being in heat.

I'm scared, but I don't really know what the word "spay" means. Hehe. Mommy says that it'll a tiny procedure, and after that I won't be able to have any babies. Yup, I think that's it. Nothing to worry about, but the word "procedure" is kinda scary :O

Well, that's it. I'll keep my diary updated :)

My SECOND visit to the vet!

Dear Diary once again today,

This afternoon I went to the vet again! Daddy had to take me cause Mommy was in school all day.

It was basically the same as the first time. I took a nasty shot on the back, a nasty pill down my throat... Oh, and the vet mistook my name and called me "Chérie" instead of "Cherry". *laughing real hard* Chérie is a FRENCH name! *giggling*

There was a REALLY shocking situation, though. He told daddy that I was in heat a couple of weeks ago. OMC! It was shocking cause no one noticed anything at all, and I am sooo young they didn't think it was possible. How weird!!! I'm all growned up!!

That's basically what happened today I guess... Oh yeah, and he clipped my nails again. Dang, now I can't climb curtains and couches and mommy's legs anymore!

My FOS package got here today!!

Whoo hoo!!

My very first package got here today! It's from a special furriend Skeezix. I'm a member of his super cool group "Friends of Skeezix" (FOS) and he sent me a special package!

In the package I found these cool buttons and a fridge magnet, with Skeezix on them. Sooo cute!!

My older mommy (my typist's mommy) wants to take my package to work to show it off to her workmates. Especially because in the package it reads: "To Miss Cherry Di Giorgio" *giggling* (Di Giorgio is my family's last name and mommy thinks that my name with Di Giorgio at the end got... Cute... Hehe)

Well I'm off to play with my buttons and fridge magnet!

My first visit to the vet!!

This was on Wednesday, February 27th 2008.

Mommy had booked an appointment for me at the vet on that day, at 3 p.m. I was reaaally scared about it!

It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. The vet is really nice and he said I was adorable! But I didn't enjoy getting a shot on my butt and taking that nasty pill. Oh and since we live like on block away from the vet, mommy and daddy walked me there inside these little cages for kitties. That was very stressing because I panic at the sound of passing cars. He said I'm perfectly healthy though.

The vet suggested a different feed though. He said Le Roy is good, but at my age it's better to have Cat Chow. Do you have it there? We don't have Iams here but they sound great. Mommy bought me a Cat Chow package but it isn't dinner time yet *boo hoo*!

Well I finally got it over it...

Mommy is saying something about going back there to get another shot next month. But I don't believe her... She wouldn't make me go through this more than once in my life... Or... would she...??

Woah! A loong car ride, new home, VET?? Boy do I have things- to say!!

Okay first of all, remember when I said my mommy mentioned to me about a new home? Well - she MEANT it!!! WOW!

It all started yesterday morning... Mommy and daddy and my littlelest mommy (my typist) spent the morning packing stuff into the car. EVERYTHING! Their clothes, computers, food... We where about to leave when they saw a FLAT tire in the car! Well, they had unpack everything and take everything back inside, then they drove the car to the mechanics to get it fixed. When they came back, they had lunch and packed everything. Then we left...
We spent around three hours traveling. It was reaaally weird in the beginning: I was really scared to see everything moving really fast outside the windows!! Mommy thought I might have to go potty, so she asked my other mommy who was driving to pull over. She did and mommy put a leash on me and took me outside. I did NOT need to go potty, but I got more scared than ever! I mean, outside in a place I've never seen before, full of cars and trucks passing (or should I say "flying") by! I was terrified and ran right back into the car!
After that I behaved reaaaally well during the trip. But I couldn't get to sleep in the car...
When we got home I liked the place already! I felt very comfortable and started jumping on the couch and beds and everything! (literally everything: chairs, tables, counters, desks, computer keyboards, printers......)
Now I'm sitting on mommy's lap while she types this. I really like my new home!

Mommy said tomorrow she'll take me to the vet. Lucky for us, we have a vet half a block away! Mommy said I might not like to go there though. Just to get me psychologically prepared (*giggling*) she told me what it'll be like: "Don't worry, Cherry! The vet's a very nice guy! All he's gonna do is poke a needle under your skin and a thermometer in a veeery nasty place. But other than that, nothing bad will happen!"
Oh mommy! You are so mean to take me to the vet! She said it's good for my "health" (whatever that is...), but I'm really scared! I'll keep you posted to say how my vet appointment was tomorrow.

What a story!!!

Dear Diary,

Today mommy was going to her grandma's place but on the way she saw a little kitten by a dangerous road. He's soooo tiny and mommy was really scared that he could get hurt. So she got him and put him inside the car. The poor little thing was LOADED with fleas!!! Daddy gave him a bath and put some flea medicine on his fur. They couldn't keep him because they already have ME *giggling* Now my older mommy and my daddy took him in the car to try to get him a home. I didn't know about any of that, but mommy got home a few minutes ago and told me hehehehe I hope he finds himself a good furever home like I did!!!

The kitty is reaaaally tiny, and he is completely white! Really cute little guy! Mommy still needs to come up with a name to him. She took pictures of him so maybe she'll add him to Catster!

Hmm... Something about a new home??

Let's see... I heard mommy saying something about going back "home" in a few days time... So I wondered, what the HECK is she talking about???

I asked her, and she explained it to me... She said that the house we are in now is only her beach house (it's summer in Brazil right now). And she said that when her vacations finish, she needs to go back "home" (Porto Alegre - that's the city she lives in).

She said it's okay, but THAT's my actual furever home.

I'm pretty excited! We're leaving on Sunday, Feb. 24th. It'll be my first time traveling!! It's around a 3 hours drive from the beach house.

Our neighbor's cat Honey came over to visit!

Our neighbor has two cats - Honey and Smokey (they will soon be on our Catster family!). Honey is a purebred Siamese and Smokey is a Siamese mix (he is Honey's son).

My mommy told her neighbor about ME! You know, that she had a new kitty and stuff...

So our neighbor decided to bring her cat Honey over to meet me (I had already met Smokey, sort of by accident actually hehehe he just walked into our yard the other day)...

What did I think of Honey? Four words: I DON'T LIKE HER.

Well, okay... She didn't do anything BAD to me, I just don't like her... She's like HUGE (plus she's pregnant again so she's even BIGGER than she usually is!). My daddy can't believe that I'll ever be that big!

Anyway, I pretended to be all brave and all near her, I would get my fur all fuzzy and do moaning sounds. But when she made the slightest sound towards me, I'd run off like lighting!!

Mommy called me a wimp for that... Hmmppfff...

Night adventure!

This happened some days ago...

Since I came to my furever home, I never ventured out too far from the front door. I would NEVER get ever NEAR the gate!! MOL

But my daddy thought it was best if I got used to the idea of getting closed to the gate, because if one day I happened to wander over there, I might get scared and run away.

Well...

Poor daddy, he tried. Guess what, I panicked and ran - to the wrong way! Instead of running towards the HOUSE, I ran toward the street!! Oh, poor mommy and daddy PANICKED! I actually ran and hid in some bushes in my neighbor's yard. So mommy, daddy and my older mommy went running into my neighbor's yard to try to catch me. They knew they shouldn't run, cause if they ran I'd get scared and run further. So my younger mommy (my typist) sat on the lawn by the bushes where I was hiding (she could see me from where she was) and just sarted calling my name calmly. I finally realized it was my mommy calling me! I walked slowly towards her, so she could grab me and safely get me back home.

The worse part is that my neighbor has a dog (Preta - she will soon be on our Dogster family) and my pawrents got scared that she might have bitten me, because when they put me safely back on the ground, I was limping!!! But nothing was wrong, my paw just got stuck in my collar! MOL!

Ah yes... Since the day I was adopted, I always cause trouble to my family. But they love me more than anything!!!
