Arrival Story:
My roommate in college got a kitten and I had to have one. I went to the pound and saw the CUTEST thing in the world. Five days later, I went to pick her up, post spaying surgery and she was just about dead. She flip flopped around, wouldn't move and was NOT kitten like at all. Turns out she was severely anemic from the fleas she had as a kitten. That on top of surgery just about killed her. She recovered and was fostered at my best friend's house for approx. two years. I eventually regained custody and now she lives happily with her two dog siblings.
