Arrival Story: Mau showed up in our pasture one day and immediately came to me. What a wonderful kitty puurrrrsonality! He talked alot and always came when called. Mau made himself at home and would "stomp" on the bed to make a nest and then curl right up. He woke me up in the morning by softly saying "Mama". We only had Mau for a couple of years, but he is forever in our hearts and we still "see" him from time to time. We believe that Mau sent us Apollo to help heal the hole that was left in our lives when he had to leave.
Bio: Purrs to all! I am patiently waiting for my Mommy and Daddy to show up here at Rainbow Bridge. I've met ALL kinds of nice kitties to introduce to them when they come. I've get family member here, like Mr. Wikit, who showed me around and helped me with my RB classes. I spend part of each day with every one of them and enjoy their company greatly! I am now on the welcoming committee at the Bridge to give head-butts and nose rubs to the new kitties who come over. I'm so proud! I wish that I could've stayed longer with Momma and Daddy, but there was a reason I came here to the Bridge so early....I was NEEDED here!

Our wonderful friend, Calvin...he who founded Pal of the Week and many humorous and interesting words has arrived to be here with me and my furriends at the Rainbow Bridge.
His passing was supervised by his loving furrmily and he was helped by a vet who loved him too.
Today has brought back some powerful feelings in my Momma...the ones she had when I first had to leave her to come to the Bridge.
Momma still misses me, of course....and I miss her...but she has come to terms with my leaving, finally....after a long, long time.
I know, of course, that someday she will come to the Rainbow Bridge and I will run to meet her and we will never again part ways.
That peculiar ache...in the heart....the one that feels like it must burst, yet feels hollow, all at once....the feeling is back.
Partly in sympathy, because Momma knows how it is to lose part of her heart and feel it wrenching free to follow the beloved kitty on his path to the Rainbow Bridge.
Also the feeling comes of losing such an important part of our Catster community.
Calvin, King of Hearts tells us to knead on....and we must, but not before emphasizing how important he and all the other Catster kits are to our furrmilies...especially our Moms.
The pain will eventually start to lessen, although the ache will never go away.
Candles will be lit and poems will be read and many fond memories will be shared...all to honor this wonderful being who shared his life and his love with his furrmily and with us, here on Catster.
Calvin, you are furrever loved by so many....now you join us at the Rainbow Bridge, where you will continue to shine your bright orangie light down on your furrmily's lives.
Tonight, there will be a special celebration that we hold for all newly arrived Rainbow Bridge kitties and you will find that your life is only just beginning again and your future holds all sorts of wondrous adventures and will be continued to be packed with good furriends who are happy to see you free and soaring between the clouds and among the stars!
As some of you know, my Momma and I wrote a book together about my last day on Earth with her and my passing over the Rainbow Bridge. I met my furrever furriend, MingMing and we have wonderpurr adventures together. I learn some pretty important lessons, too!
We've gotten some really good reviews and the book is available for $15.00; that includes postage and handling! If you'd like to order my book, please email me at maumauattherainbowbridge@gmail.com and I will get Momma to send one out to you ASAP! Momma has a PayPal account, so it's really easy to just pay with your credit card, even if you don't have an account.
Mom finally got the layout to do final editing on my (well, our!) book..."MauMau At The Rainbow Bridge"! After the cover art is finalized and final editing done on the text, it will be published! We are sooo excited here at the Bridge. I organized a pawty down by the Milky Stream and there are kitties by the thousands down there...it's like a Kitty Woodstock! Music, dancing...lots of fun and food...anything we want just appears!
Another (and new!) development! Mom signed a contract on Friday to produce a DVD MOVIE of my book! Yes, I know it's Mom's and mine, but it's MY name in the title and it's about ME....so furgive me if I continue stating it's MY book! MOL! Anyway, it will be a 20 minute DVD wif original music and Mom is so happy and excited. It's going to be such fun fur her. I love seeing Momma happy! I believe I'll fly ofur to the pawty and do a happy dance!
