I am beautiful, Healthy, and have ALL my teeth. Daddy spoilt me all day with yummy food.

Box Cat

meowmy put a box down next to me and said 'here is a box for a box cat'. what is a cat meant to do? yes, how could I resist. She went back to doing stuff in the kitchen and I jumped in. Ooooh! wonderful! Daddy came by and saw me and gave me big pats and then tuna! I was a wonderful box cat from the planet box!

Another Cat!

Meowmy and daddy have done it again. Dragged ANOTHER cat home. I'm trying not to be grumpy, but it's hard. She use to live across the road and was my arch enemy. She now is living in MY room!

Is this like when Jacqui arrived? If so I guess I can live with it. My food intake didn't reduce, my cuddles remained. HeHe... Jacqui looks more worried than me.

I guess grudgingly I can say welcome Katie cat, just leave me and my food alone!

Zap!

Hee hee! I zapped meowmy when she tried to hug me. Ms Static Electricity I am! I have the power!

Weekend

The weather was warmer this weekend and I decided to be nice and friendly. I slept in bed BETWEEN mum and dad for a change. It seems to have had a very positive reaction from the hoomans. Lots of pats and attention. It was even better as I relegated Jacqui to the laundry basket!

Cold!

It is freezing at night. Soooo cold.

I'm glad meowmy has the flannelette sheets on the bed so I can crawl in and be warm. I go out early in the morning and do a surveillance of the yard. My toes get frigid.

I come in again quickly, I don't want to freeze to death. I go back to bed for a little while until meowmy or daddy gets up, grab breakfast, do another quick circuit of the yard and then crawl into bed with Cousin. She has the heater on and her room is sooo warm. She doesn't get up till late and then the sun has warmed the air for the day.

Sun

It is sunny again today. The morning is cold and meowmy and daddy are off to work. I have crawled into bed with Cousin and by the time she gets up it will be the middle of the day and it should be warm. Then I shall go and sleep in the sun on the deck... What a busy day.

I was sitting in the yard watching the E's,as we call them. Edith, Edna, Esmerelda, and Endora. Chickens. Big Birds. Big birds with feathers. They attract other birds. Pee wees, magpies, mynors. All delicious hunks of bird meat, covered in feathers. Wide screen cat TV.

Why oh why am I tortured so? I'm not permitted to attack but they are free to wonder around the yard on weekends.

Hello

Meowmy has let me back onto my diary as well.

My biggest wish is that my little sisfur, Jacqui, would stop jumping ON me.
I come in the door, she jumps on me.
I go to eat, she jumps on me.
I go to sleep, she jumps on me.
I go to walk, she jumps on me.
I have taken to tackling her now and then to show her who is boss. She seems to think it is fun. Stupid kitten.
Must go to sleep now.

Need a Plan

I like waking meowmy in the middle of the night and ask to go out. I like a little snack, the door opened to let me out, the window open to let me in. I really don't see why this is a problem for her.

Also, as a supermodel size kitty, the indoor scratchy post is hardly my size. Then I discovered Bertha. Bertha is meowmy's dress making dummy. She is great. Good claw scratch, good height AND wakes meowmy.

Meowmy has been telling me 'no' when I use Bertha. She has even given me playful swipes. But it is so good!

Then.... Meowmy stayed at home trying to cough up a very stubborn fur ball yesterday. It still hasn't dislodged but she is planning to go to work today.

Fool. I can plan my revenge. Why? Last night I did the usual, bedside table, scratch Bertha to wake meowmy. She mumbles 'no', I ignore her. She gets up, normal plan achieved, but: Meowmy goes into the kitchen and gets the TIN FOIL! Have you ever tried to scratch that stuff? AHHHHHhhhhhrrrrg! then she goes back to bed, still trying to dislodge that fur ball before falling asleep.

I'm stuck inside. Nothing will wake her. I play with Jacqui, I climb over her. I try to get out the window. SHE IGNORES ME!

I'll show her.... I have all the time in the world to plan!
