Arrival Story:
I got Sassy when I was about 10 years old, rather my parents adopted her, but she's always been MY cat. We got her from the humane society. She was so small, and had the biggest ears! The whole family fell in love with her, and shes been with us ever since!
Bio:
When Sassy was still a kitten, she took a liking to string, as do most cats. On my 11th birthday I had a party, we bought balloons, and other decorations. The balloons deflated over night, and we noticed one of them was missing it's string. Over the next few days Sassy became sick, and wouldn't eat. We took her to the vet, they did some x-rays, and it turns out she had eaten the balloon string, and had nearly 4ft of string wrapped around her intestine. The vet's performed surgery, and saved our beloved Sassy. Ever since that, we've been VERY careful about string, and things like that. But we are so thankful she was able to be saved! :)
