Thank you, dear furriends fur sharing the love wif me! I'm not able to be online too much lately, but I apuureciate all of you so much and I love you too!

I've been tagged! A Day in My Life....by Apollo!

My sweet furriend, Lucy tagged me to play A Day in the Life tag. Here's a day in MY life!

Morning:
I like to wake my Momma up before the other kits do and make sure she remembers how to feed us and change our water for fresh. My way of waking Mom is to trill my Meezer voice up and down and up and down wif a question mark on the end! Momma says my voice is the BESTEST alarm clock she's efur heard! *proudly licks his paw* When I see that she is awake, I hop up onto the bed to give her headbonks and love, then supervise our food and water closely.

While Mom is getting showered and dressed, I follow her movements closely. I like to sit on the edge of the shower/tub between the shower curtain and clear liner, to make sure Momma doesn't disappear while she's in there! Then I follow her around while she gets dressed and stuff.

If Mom has computer work to do, I either sit behind her on her desk chair or hop into the Kit-In-A-Box bed attached to her desk (unless Flowie or Whisper is in it first). She needs me to help her wif efurrything she does, you know! I help her get her own breakfast and have to sniff her coffee each day to be sure it's JUST right!

If Momma has to go somewhere, I make sure she knows I'll be here when she gets back and that I'll take good care of the other kits! I'm a good Meezer-boy and will supervise efurryone's nap and playtime, too!

Afternoon:
I spend the day sleeping either in the little house on our cat tree or on Momma's bed. I'm not too interested in doing much of anything unless Mom's in the house wif me. She puts my mousie toys out for me each day and arranges our scratchy toys fur us and we have a little play session before she leaves the house. Usually, they are all still in the same places as she left them until it's time fur us to play wif her again. When she has to go away for awhile, she gives us all a hug and says "I love you!" and "I'll be back soon!" before going out the door. I don't like it when Momma has to leave us.

Late Afternoon and Evening:
I greet Mommy at the door....I know the sound of her truck! I used to watch out the window at our old house, but I can't see her arrive furry well at this house, so I just sit and wait fur her when I hear the truck. Momma's always SO happy to see me and the other kits! She smiles and laughs at my welcome trill no matter WHAT kind of day she's had!

I pick up where I left off and follow Momma efurrywhere fur the rest of the day! When she sits, I sit, when she lies down, I lie down wif her. I make sure we all eat on time and supervisor all activities, of course....but my primary job is to be wif Momma in case she needs me! I keep her happy and make sure she gets LOTS of exercise by playing wif me! That's impawrtent, you know....exercise ....I know lots about that!

When it's Catster time, all of us like to have our turn to check on our furriends. We take turns pawmailing and stuff, then Momma checks out her Facebook furriends and does her journaling and works on her book. I love helping my Momma (in case you didn't know that already!) :-)

When Momma is ready to go to sleep, I know it and lead the way! I trill my voice really loud fur our night-night treats! We get 100% freeze-dried chicken treats before settling in fur the night!

Today is my FOURTH BIRFDAY! Whoo-hoo!

I'm FOUR, I'm FOUR, I'm FOUR YEARS OLD today! MOL! Momma gave me some of her pomegranate Greek yogurt this morning to celebrate my birfday and I gots another purple mousie wif a leather tail! I also gots a bag of treats and lots of cuddles and hugs and kissies! I love my birfday...it's ALL day today and I'm gonna take FULL advantage of it, too! :-)

OMC! I'm a DDP today!

Thanks and purrs to my furriends who have concatulated me and sent me rosies and pawmails! I even gots a message on my Voki from my pal, Calvin and his furrmily!

My first love, Scooter, even commented on my diary entry! She said she wants to hear MORE from me! *excited purrs!* I love you, Scootie...furrever and ever! :))

Momma says that we are going to celebrate my DDP honor today wif a walk around the property! There is still too much snow around fur me to want to walk, but Mom puts me inside her jacket and we can walk up in back through the pine trees and listen to the birdies chirp and the breeze whisper through the pine branches! We'll walk into the barn and Mom will let me down on my harness and leash inside so that I can sniff around fur MOUSIES, too! MOL!
Mr. Sun is shining today and all the fields around us are pure white and sparkly.....it's wonderpurr to see the sun again after all these weeks of clouds and gray days! I'm gonna be purring and purring and PURRING! :-)

It's been awhile since I wrote in my diary.....

Sheesh! What a long winter it's being! It has been below zero outside fur WEEKS and I can't even go outside in Momma's coat wif her in the evening to look at the stars! It's too cold and now MOMMA has a cold! What's a kit to do?
Well....I help wif kitty piling at night and keep her warm and snuggly-buggly, that's what THIS kit does! MOL!
I'm really good at keeping her active so she doesn't just sit around being a "sickie", too! I trill and meep at her until she plays wif me! I love my homemade crocheted catnip toys that Auntie Eleanor made fur us! We gots some fur Christmas and they are PAWESOME. I recommend them to anyfur here on Catster or anywhere else! Momma and I played wif the ball in the sunroom wif the sun's warm rays beating down on us this morning! We BOTH feel better after that!
I will be a happy kit when it warms up and I can go outside on my harness and leash again! Smells of new green grass and opening tree leaves....here I come! Spring WILL come...I just KNOW it! MOL!!!

I gots a MOUSIE!

I'm a Mighty Hunter JUST like my brofur NOW! I caught meself a MOUSIE...a REAL, LIVE ONE!

(psssttt! It's 'Pollo's Momma here...he caught a vole, but he THINKS it's a mouse and I'm going to let him believe it!)

Ok Mom.....outta my way! I snuck up on the mousie...furry slowly....and POUNCED! It squeaked and sounded like a cicada, so Mom and Dad thought I'd caught another one, but it's a MOUSIE! OMC...I was soooo excited. I lifted my head and had the mousie in my beastly jaws wif my ears flat and looked at my pawrents. They are SO PROUD of me! I'm officially a mankit now, just like Riley!

The mousie was struggling, so in true cat fashion, I dropped it and it wiggled and I pawed it, then picked it up again. Dropped, pawed, picked up...ofur and ofur....(have to stay wif tradition, ya know!).
Finally, the mousie stopped moving and I looked up at Momma to see her smile at me and.....
THE MOUSIE RUNNED AWAY!

MOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

I was so shocked and upset, I pawed around the bushes fur awhile, but then Mom tugged on my harness and told me that it was gone. She picked me up to snuggle and try to make it up to me, but I wasn't having any of that! I went off down the sidewalk, dragging MOM! I am gonna find ANOTHER mousie and I won't let it get away again!

I caught a CICADA!!!

Whoo-hoo! I'm a regular beast, a regular CREATURE! I'm a Mighty Hunter, just like my brofur, Riley!
I went up on the mound today, just hunting like usual. There was a funny buzzing sound and it wasn't a bee! I looked, stretched out my neck (Dad said I looked like a Siamese ET!) and then I did the Polar Bear Pounce! MOL...I got it first try! It buzzed and fussed around, but I kept my paw on it til it got quiet. Then I lifted my paw really slow and looked...ACK! It started buzzing again, so I slammed my paw down on it! Momma asked me what I had and I looked at her and meowed, "Shhhhh!". She apologized and let me be then! After a few minutes, I lifted my paw again and it lay still, no buzzing...so I lost interest and padded off to find another adventure! I love summer!

OMC! I've been noticed by the lovely ELSA!

I'm sure you all know of Miss Elsa, the Furrever Flirt! She's my sisfur, Flowie's furriend, but she pawmailed ME! Can you believe it! I'm just so honored, I'm chasing my tail! Miss Elsa told me that I'm being too hard on my sisfur when I try to play wif her. I guess Flowie must've been talking about me in Olde Furts! I apologized fur myself to Miss Elsa and she said she was gonna keep an eye on me, cos I'm always into things! How'd she know THAT? Did Momma tell her Mom? Did Flowie tell Elsa? I don't know, but I'm gonna watch my back. If I see the lovely Elsa's face behind me, I'm gonna pass out!
She's just TOO BEAUTIFUL for words!!!

Wow, it's COLD outside!

Momma and Daddy and I were sitting on the back deck and I was in my usual spot....on the table watching the dog slobber all ofur her big blue ball. I was really working up to my disgusted look and suddenly a COLD wind blew up and hit me right in the face! OMC...I was in shock and turned to Momma and said "meeeeeooooooowwwww!!!!????" She felt back fur me and picked me up right away, cuddling me close. Daddy laughed at me and I HISSED at him! I was really grumpy and didn't want some human laughing at me! Mom took me inside and gave me a few crunchies to elevate my metabolism a bit...calories, you know. I crunched them up and went to curl up on my pile of cushions in the dining room by the back door. Momma keeps meaning to put them away, but I love them so much, she's left them there fur me.
What's wif this cold in SUMMER????? I don't LIKE cold...I like warm...not TOO warm...but PURRFECT warm!

I'm SUCH a good helper!!!

Guess what I did today??? I helped my Dad put a new concrete shower pan in the shower stall! Wow...what a pawesome help I am...take a look at my pictures and you'll see my work. For some reason, when Dad discovered my wonderpurr job, he stood and stared wif a funny look on his face fur awhile, then went to get Momma. Then SHE laughed like crazy! What's wif that? I did a furrtastic job on the cement! I bet they didn't know what a good kitty 'struction worker I am! Now, I bet they have me "help" with EFURRYTHING! MOL!
