On January 5th, I have been gone from Mom's arms now for 8 years. It is really hard to believe. I was only 9 when Mom, Donald and Mary Beth sat with me in the Vet's office, telling me goodbye.
They still talk about my "tail" or lack of one. How I would wag the little nub I was born with.
I would have hated the snow right now. Mom always had to make paths for me so I could go to the creek to drink water--that was my favorite, I preferred it over water in a bowl.
Mom found out the hard way, that I did not like snow. My brother Sam went right into it. She looked out and saw me just standing, between the house and the creek. I was meowing. I was lifting my paw and shaking it.
She thought about what was going on, I kept meowing, so she walked through the snow, making a path and I followed. So to the creek we went, then she made more paths for me to be able to play.
I want to thank my friends who sent messages and rosettes. You are very Dear to me and my mom.
Love,
Josh
(P.S. if anyone received a thank you from me and it said Socks, just chalk it up to my mom and know that it came from my heart.)

My Christmas Wish For You
My Christmas wish for you, my friend
Is not a simple one
For I wish you hope and joy and peace
Days filled with warmth and sun
I wish you love and friendship too
Throughout the coming year
Lots of laughter and happiness
To fill your world with cheer
May you count your blessings, one by one
And when totaled by the lot
May you find all you've been given
To be more than what you sought
May your journeys be short, your burdens light
May your spirit never grow old
May all your clouds have silver linings
And your rainbows pots of gold
I wish this all and so much more
May all your dreams come true
May you have a Merry Christmas friend
And a happy New Year, too ..

We want to wish our Dear Friends a Very Happy Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Delights
On Thanksgiving Day we’re thankful for
Our blessings all year through,
For family we dearly love,
For good friends, old and new.
For sun to light and warm our days,
For stars that glow at night,
For trees of green and skies of blue,
And puffy clouds of white.
We’re grateful for our eyes that see
The beauty all around,
For arms to hug, and legs to walk,
And ears to hear each sound.
The list of all we’re grateful for
Would fill a great big book;
Our thankful hearts find new delights
Everywhere we look!
