Arrival Story:
We had an older cat named Luna who just laid around all the time and wasn't very active. We decided to get another cat to kind of liven Luna up a little bit. Since I had picked out Luna my husband thought it was only fair that he pick out the new kitty. He picked out Rory from the shelter because she was so cute and playful.

About 5 days after we got Rory she started throwing up and had a lot of blood every time she went to the litterbox. We rushed her to an after hours animal hospital where they informed us that she was not the 6 weeks old that the shelter told us she was, she was only 4 weeks old and she had some sort of virus that she had gotten from her mother. They sent us home with her and a few different medicines and made an appointment at our vet for the following Monday (this was on a Friday night). Aurora died in my arms the following afternoon. I could tell she was fighting so hard to stay alive so I kissed her head and told her she could stop fighting and go to the Rainbow Bridge and wait for me. A few minutes later she closed her eyes for the final time. She will always remain my little angel kitten.
