I have to tell you what I did to my meowmy tonight as she was getting ready to go out to dinner with my dad and her high school furiend and her husband as a farewell dinner. Meowmy's furiend is moving 7 1/2 hours away and Meowmy has been furry sad. They have been furiends for a very long time.
Getting to the good part of the story. Meowmy was preoccupied with doing her make up and hair. I was busy playing with the little box of toys that we have in our bathroom. I really like the brown mousie with the long feather tail. I was very into licking and tossing the mousie that has some catnip in it.
Suddenly, as I was engrossed in my play, I heard Meowmy scream at my dad to come into the bathroom immediately. I am still enjoying my mousie and wondering what all the yelling is about.
At that point, Meowmy tells my dad to get whatever bug had just jumped on the side of the bathtub. My dad is cautiously approaching this bug. It looked very much like a praying mantis but it was brown and very hairy in appearance. Both my pawrents were freaking over what in the world this bug was. Meowmy was telling my dad that as she turned around from doing her makeup, she saw this brown bug jump up on the side of the tub and she was freaking out. This bug was at least 3 inches long with it's head up and looking around and it's tail down and hairy arms and legs. Both my pawrents thought it might jump on them so both of them were cautious. I was just happy to be playing with my mousie.
About that time, my dad grabbed a wad of toilet paper and made a brave attempt to capture this creature. Success... he got it. Then he said to mom that it was part of a feather. *giggles* I guess in my play and intense play, I had broken the feather enough that as I was shaking the mousie, the feather (which was quite wet with my slobber) finally broke and because it was wet, it stuck to the side of the tub. It was very funny because I fooled both my pawrents into thinking there was a large, unusual bug that had found entry into our home.
Meowmy told my dad that she wished she had taken a picture of it before he captured it because it was very realistic looking as a bug. Fooled both of them for sure.
Meowmy did take a picture of me with the mousie after she came home from her dinner and visit with her furiend and when she downloads it to the catputer, we will post it on my page. However, you really should have seen the BUG feather sticking to the tub. Very scary for my meowmy and dad.

MOL! But we are glad it wasn't a REAL giant, scarey bug!
So is my meowmy! She freaked out.
