Shortly before 8:30am EST, we got some very sad news. Auntie Barbi called Meowmy to tell her that our dear furiend Cocoa had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He will always be a special part of our furmily and always in our hearts. He left some big pawprints in each of our hearts. We are all still in shock. Please remember Auntie Barbi and Unkie Rob and all the sad siblings that Cocoa has left behind to mourn and miss him. Cocoa was and is very special to my meowmy... she always loved to hear his cute little meows (sometimes very loud) as he chatted when Auntie Barbi and Meowmy were on the phone chatting. Rest in Peace, dear and special furiend. You will never be far from our hearts. We LOVE you, Cocoa.
Yesterday, as you know, was my 12th birthday and it was, also, my meowmy's birthday. I think she has to be at least 100 or more. *looks to see if Meowmy is reading this*
Meowmy did me a favor by NOT making me wear a hat or collar or torturing me like that. I get furry scared when I am dressed. Meowmy gave me extra lovies and then she went out with her high school forever friend for lunch and shopping and she said "Just Girl" time. Meowmy came home in the late afternoon. Meowmy and Patchez had received a BIG package from Auntie Terry and Poo so they opened the package and then their pawresents and were so surprised with their gifties but I will let Patchez tell you about that.
My dear furiend Cocoa and his special furmily sent me a birthday hat. They said, "Dear Cassidy~ We are so excited to be celebrating your 12th Birthday today... May your day be as special and as beautiful as you are. Love~ Cocoa & Co. xoxo"
Sweet Tessa and her lovely furmily sent me a most yummy shrimp. They said, "Happy Birthday, Cassidy! We hope you have a pawsome day celebrating and get lots and lots of treats!"
Cannoli, his meowmy Auntie Barbi and the fur furmily sent my meowmy a beautifur heart for her birthday. They said, "Dear Jo~ We wanted to stop by to wish you a beautiful Birthday today and may your celebration be filled with lots of love. Thanks for always being such a wonderful friend. Love~ Barbi & Family xoxo" My meowmy thanks all of you for the birthday love and your special furiendship with her.
A very special Angel named Queen Tallulah and her sweet furmily sent me a birthday heart. They said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET CASSIDY! we hope you will have a pawtastic day and will get lots of extra love and hugs..." Queen Tallulah fought a brave and valiant battle with breast cancer. Unfortunately, she lost the battle. She touched so many hearts and has helped to make us aware that this exists, even in the kitty world. QT, your battle was not in vain nor forgotten. We love you.
DA TABBIES O TROUT TOWNE sent me a delicious shrimp. They said, "a most happee burd day two ewe cassie N herez ta a bazillion mor !! best fishes fora grate day, we hope ya haz fun and get ta eat lotz oh cake..maybe even sum trout !! peace out N rock on frum all oh us !
The sweetest Angel named Mr. Sam sent me a lovely Adopt A Pet Ribbon. He said, "Happy Meowday lovely lady Cassidy!!!!" Thank goodness my meowmy did find me and adopted me 11 years ago. I was taken from that small and confining cage in PetSmart. While I had been saved by my foster meowmy Karen, I was lonely. My whole furmily had found homes. I was scared and did not understand why no one wanted me. My meowmy told me it was because I was such a special kitty and God had special plans for my meowmy to find me and give me a loving and forever home. It was a long time before that happened but I am so glad that my meowmy did find me and that I stole her heart.

My dear furiends Angel Wanda and her pawsome furmily sent me the cutest mouse for my birthday. They said, "Happy Birthday! Hope you had a wonderful day. Hope everyone is well in your house, we miss reading your diaries, well we just miss you guys period. Love ya always, Wanda, Norman and family"
Vincent and his sweet furmily sent me a forever crown. That made me feel special. They said, "happy birthday and many happy returns!" We think of Vincent who went missing in early 2010 and pray that he found a forever and loving home. We know his furmily misses him and would love for him to return home with some very special tales of adventures while he was missing.
Sweet Angel Navin R. Johnson-Davis sent me a beautifur rainbow rosette. He said, "Happy Birthday dear Cassidy! I hope you had a lovely filled w/ cuddle time with Kujo & some yummy food! All my love, Navin R. Johnson-Davis" You really know me, Navin. I spend so many hours cuddled safely with my bestie, my sisfur and my mom substitute Kujo. I was extremely attached to my birth mom and was traumatized when she found a forever home and had to leave me alone. I could not figure out why no one wanted me. All my siblings were adopted and then my mom and I had no one. When my meowmy finally found me and adopted me, I immediately bonded with Kujo and followed her around. We are inseparable now.
Eve Layla and her pawsome furmily sent me a birthday heart. They said, "HAPPY 12TH MEOWDAY CASSIDY! WE Hope Our FURRY SWEET & FURRY BEAUTIFUL FURIEND has A PAWSOME DAY! A HEART Because ................... WE LOVE YOU SO FURRY MUCH! Purrs & MUCH LOVE, "THE GANG OF FURS" Not only did they send me this beautifur heart but they pmailed me and sang the Happy Birthday song to me in PURRfect pitch.
River and Simone sent me a fleur-di-lis. They said, "Happy Birthday Cassidy! HOORAY and HAPPY RIVER DANCES! We hope your special day is full of nom noms and belly rubs! Lots of Love, River and Simone" Meowmy says that River Dances are really great!
